shooting back yard animals
Does anyone here shoot back yard animals???
I bought a pellet gun off my friend for $20 and bought a ---- load of pellets. I have knocked a few birds out of trees and took down a squirrell so far. my neighbor feeds a bunch of dieseased stray cats that multiply and Im waiting for one to come into my yard. Ive been hunting this big grey cat that beats up my cats and pisses on my car's wheels. >:( I still havent got him yet. anyone else hate cats or shoot vermin? |
Re: shooting back yard animals
What do you mean "shoot back yard animals"? I've never seen a cat "hike" its leg up to pee so its hard for me to see them peeing on your wheels. But if you feel compelled to shoot the cat for doing that then go for it. If they're just stray cats and you want to shoot them then GTFO.
On a side note killing wild animals is always fun :D |
Re: shooting back yard animals
male cats back up to trees, cars, exe and spray piss everywhere... they dont lift their leg or nothing
|
Re: shooting back yard animals
When i get bored at work I go in the impound yard and shoot birds. I call it the "THE NO FLY ZONE"
---- onetime i shot a seagull in the wing and it couldn't fly and my old ass diasy couldn't kill it even in the head so SCHIM187 came outside and cut its head off with a shovel |
Re: shooting back yard animals
someone should shoot you for being an -------. leave the ------ cats alone. aint their fault you have ----- ass cats.
|
Re: shooting back yard animals
Id really like to shoot the Crow thats in our back yard ---- dose that thing piss me off >:(
|
Re: shooting back yard animals
I have no problem shooting animals that are running wild. If the animal is someone's pet then it is a different thing.
|
Re: shooting back yard animals
Would it be okay if your neighbor put your cat on blast for coming in his yard? If yes, continue shooting.

I'd personally call animal control.

Guess theres just too many cat lovers here so I guess the cat lives! ;) |
Re: shooting back yard animals
I'm about to this level. We currently have eight, yes 8, stray cats that are keeping my car covered in foot prints/scratching the paint/and apparently pissing where it sucks air in for the a/c. They all hang around our house eating the dogs food and my moms gold fish out of her pond. I have tried poisioning them with rat poison to no avail.
Any good poisoning recommendations? All I have is a .30-06 rifle. The bullets are half the size of the damn cats which would just cause me more mess to clean up. |
Re: shooting back yard animals
i like cats, but theres a lot of stupid or scaredy cats just because of stupid owners, same thing with dogs and every other animal. its not always the animal as much as the owner. and i dont think your pellet gun is going to kill the cat anyways. all other animals free game. when i go out shooting i try and kill anything that moves, its a free country ill shoot what i want
|
Re: shooting back yard animals
the best way to deal with stray cats is to get a cat trap http://www.wildlife-traps.com/cats.h...FSCcnAodY1oDTw
then once you have it contained you spray the cat down with a spray trim adhesive so that it can't move around and then put it in your driveway and set it on fire, basically you just catch one and make an example out of his ass and then the rest of the cats will know your not ------- around. if you don't want to be really cruel you can always smash its head in with a hammer first, just make sure to display the body to serve as a warning to all future intruders. |
Re: shooting back yard animals
I'm personally a fan of shooting ground hogs....they have to be on the top 10 most worthless animal list. They dig their stupid holes all next to the foundation of my barn and if I don't use a flashlight walking around at night I'll break my ankle. I either have to use my .17 or .222 rifle...bb's don't do a damn thing

Re: shooting back yard animals
Just use antifreeze for poison and be sure to tell your brother its not koolaid. If there are stray crackheads put up a sign for crack-flavored koolaid, they're worse than stray cats IMO.
You can also tie a ball of yarn to the pin on a hand grenade or strategically place catnip on a mine or other explosive device. If the explosion is big enough, the cat will be instantly vaporised into a fine bloody mist and you won't have anything to clean up. Alternatively, maybe buk (oops, jay) can post a how-to on skinning and cooking cat. |
Re: shooting back yard animals
If buk does that then he should start a new thread on how to prepare ----- (cat) for the eating :6

Re: shooting back yard animals
I was in dvst8r's garage the other day torquing my head down when a couple crows fell out of the tree lol.

Re: shooting back yard animals
our religion prohibits us from eating anything with claws.. i.e. no dogs or cats lions or w/e
no birds with incisors also im pretty sure i couldnt bring myself to eat a cat.. i admit id live to try rats.. (field rats.. not city rats) but ---- if im gonna eat a cat.. anyone saw that show with the dude that lives with wolves and eats field rats like em? ---- yeah that was bad ass ok im done |
Re: shooting back yard animals
I've killed about 50-60 cats and 30-40 dogs in a weeks time.
Dumbass owners don't have the heart to take their unwanted animals to the shelter, but just let them go "wild" in the country. 7.62x39 HP will ---- up a dog! |

Re: shooting back yard animals
animal control doesnt do anything unless the animal is just outside their office. they hate making house calls and often will charge you or the owner... since strays have no owner then they charge you... Can of $ammo<$animal control
|
Re: shooting back yard animals
go to walmart and buy a 10/22 ruger. buy a threaded barrel for a hundred bucks, tactical innovations silencer is 199 and 200 for a tax stamp to own the silencer. the only sound you hear is the action moving if you use subsonic ammo.

300-500 yard shot on a main leader of the pack and all the rest will fest off it's body. It's like shooting fish in a barrel after take. I like animals and it is NOT fun to do, but only to control the wild pack is to wipe it out. Oh yeah, it was IN State animal control officer that took the 450 yard shot to start it all. |
Re: shooting back yard animals
I used to have problem with a nut tree on my backyard. F'ing squirrels made a mess. The ate the nuts right on top of the cars. Had to trim the squirrel family :y. Picked up a .177 air rifle :D. Killed about 6. Now there is only one, which apparently has learn to take the nuts to his nest.
Birds dont bother me to much unless the ---- on the cars. Caught a ground hog with a trap the other day, but I let him go in the local park. |

Re: shooting back yard animals
My cat got out when it was raining and scratched up one of my cars. I was pretty pissed but I would not kill her cause I love my kitty. Now strays are a different story. Those bastards will ---- you up if you try to pick them up. They need to die cause they punk around normal cats like mine, when they just wanna play.
My neighbors chihuahua always pisses in the bush next to my door and I really wanted to kill them. I was thinking more of a claymore mine setup with a proximity sensor. I am more along the lines of total annihilation. http://www.softair.it/dok/articoli/Claymore/foto1.jpg |
Re: shooting back yard animals *Update*
so I gave up on the cat because it stays out of my yard but in a recent turn of events my neighbor decides that all the stray cats are unhealthy and need put down. so they started extermination. one cat a day until they are eliminated.... Odd that I had the same feeling but atleast they are taking care of them ;D :)

Re: shooting back yard animals
I got a baddass pellet gun scope, 1200 FPS muzzle speed.
birdies are fun, squirls are stubborn bastards sometimes. if its for sure a stray and your gonna bury it, by all means open fire. you have the same chance of missing as the cat has a chance of living if you call the pound Or you could be creative, get that lil bastard in a box, drop him off in front of a bunch of kids 20 miles down the street |
