SVT is boring, SHO is nice and you can describe a whole car with it. You can't just say an SVT and have someone know what vehicle you're talking about, but when you say SHO it's known instantly.

We just finished a sho v6 rebuild at the shop today. He's hoping for a good N/A 310 to the wheels with the work we did. I hope he sees it. He's got the money to just give it to a tuner and say, 310hp please. apparently, the SHO owners have a program, similar to the ones we use, to tune their cars.

It SUCKED setting lash on his setup. Since he had reground cams, he needed to fill the space that creates when the base circle is smaller. He had to use lash caps. There's no adjusters like honda's have, they've got cups/shims. So each individual valve/cup/shim/lash-cap had to be kept together and not mixed around, because the lash could change from seat to seat. 24valves :S . The heads look really nice, like they could flow the air needed for his goal. Long story short, it was a mess, and needed to be clearanced in a bunch of areas.

My boss had a couple fits over this one, lol.

I was eyeballing the late 90's SHO's but then realized it's still a Taurus. Much like the SRT with the Neon. Fast...yes....dignity...no. :X
