shitty week... gettin *******... *rant*
Well, I have never really written a rant before but I have had a shitty week that I would like to tell.
In norther ohio the weather has not been very good, (raining off and on during the day and spiking to 30 and 40 degrees from 75+). I went to pull the valve cover off and either paint it, or just clean it and check the seal (ended up having it jam into my thumb and break the nail in half.. trying to get the bolts to pop out from the cover) So those things started off the week.
I planned to run my car at the raceway on Wednesday (this is where it gets bad.) I went to my friends house and he wanted to go but couldn't (wife.. nuff said)
So he told me to put on his teg rims on my car. They have yokohama tires that are brand new.. He told me to do the "mandatory break in burnout" in front of his house.. So I did and the tires hooked up real nice.... a little too nice. After driving it for a while, my clutch went to ----. I drove back to my house.
Put my car in the garage on thursday (I have a act clutch waiting to go in, just sitting in the garage). I ordered a flywheel (supposed to be here on friday). I didnt get started on the car til late thursday, and not much done..
Friday comes. no flywheel. nothing done on the car
Saturday comes. no flywheel. Not much more done on the car.
I also was taking my gf to prom. (she is a junior. i am a soph in college.)
Well i take my moms car and the tie rod comes off when i am driving.. ya that was fun to steer clear of the ditch. I park at a house (which of course is the house of a poo-poo.) Get a ride to prom. get a ride to my gf's house. get a ride home from gf (gave a ride to her in return 
)
Sunday, get my moms car towed back, get the tie rods replaced in the driveway. btw, no flywheel. Also when taking out the axles, the ball joints ripped... so I got new ball joints, had to order one. tie rod boot ripped. also need a new inner tie rod for the passanger side. pass side cv joint came out, i popped it back in, but i dont know if it will be ok..
Monday, got my moms car aligned. no flywheel. tranny out. still waiting. picked up ball joint, but that doesnt matter.. cause no flywheel. found out oil pan bolts worked loose.. oil everywhere.. need a new pan, because of shitty drain. started an online class with no books, i have assignments that i cant do until the books come in, UT is stupid. grinded welds that a shitty exhaust shop did.. finally got the pin out of the shifter fork w/o the right punch.
*tuesday*- plan to drive to get the books (2hour drive). plan to get the flywheel. plan to install mostly everything.
So all and all it has been just a wonderful week. and I hope that this one goes better. some busted knuckles, and time at home... but i hope that this clutch will be worth it. It is that xt00. 100% over stock, lightened flyhweel (the streetlite, so its not too light), smooth engagement. But it has been one pain in the ***... at least when i am done the intercooler pipping will be nice and gloss black with no welds showing and a new clutch, new ball joints, new tie rod.. hopefully the list stops there

On Friday I wrecked and totalled my car.
On Sunday I finally was able to take off my neck brace, as well as not needing my wheelchair anymore.
My grandma died tonight..
I think I have you beat.
GL with the flywheel though.

SinisterCRX, I am sorry bout your grandma.. I had something similar happen before.
New years, couldn't spend with the girlfriend, then she dumped me, my grandpa died in the meantime and my (step)grandma covered it up so the kids and grandkids would not know so they couldn't get any of his possessions (which is not much). The biggest thing is that my family (step family) is fighting to get what my real grandpa did own, and they were doing this the night he died... thats an on going heart wrencher..
