Shipping Charges on E-Bay!!!

What the hell is up with the rediculous shipping charges some sellers charge on e-bay. 5 bucks shipping and handling for a stupid CD. 50bucks for some R32 tail lights.... its getting rediculous...

Post your horror shipping stories:
I would like to read them cause I get bored at work...

clutch and flywheel costed me over 80$ CAD a piece for shipping alone (because of the duty charges to canada)

Re:Shipping Charges on E-Bay!!!

I buy stuff from ebay all the time. I get all my stuff sent to my uncles place in the states, then I drive from my house in Canada and pick my stuff up. Saved so much this way (over the cost of shipping to Canada and customs charges). Example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33710
$25 for US
$42 for CND (plus customs after)

Thats so stupid, when I gotta mail/ship anything to the US from Canada the difference in price is like 20%. When US ppl ship to Canada they charge like 40% more. Bullshit

Hi,
about the really high s&h prices on Ebay... I am an Ebay seller, and I occasionally raise a price a bit on s&h because of my very low auction prices. The low starting price often attracts bidders. Just make sure you read the shipping details! This way you can bid accordingly!

Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of the auction?

If I can get an H22 complete head shipped to my door for $10 then why should I pay $20 for some fricken taillights!?
