to shift or not so shift, that is the question

simple question, do you like auto or stick?
i personally like a real 5speed (or 6) with a clutch like it should be, so that i can controll the entire driving process
but i can admit that the dsg (or whatever they call them now) trannys do shift faster and it would be convinient to be automatic during stop and go traffic but really "drive" the car when i want and i know they don't miss shifts but you don't really have controll of the car or the power going from the engine to the tires, and it really upsets me that 99% of all cars are auto (without the option of getting stick shift) and modern "performance" cars have semi-auto (dsg style) trannys.
some examples are
the new skyline gt-r (450hp, with a real 6speed it would be sweet)
new nsx
challanger
supra
vw r32
and menny menny more

also one thing i will never drive is cvt auto, they are useless!

I like stick, but I also like to spell "challanger" Challenger, and "menny" Many. But that's just me.
