I kinda wanted a sleeper, but no matter what I did the ricers would rev on me. With the painted intercooler everybody notices it. No matter what I do, with an EG everybody wants to race. The funny thing is nobody has any fast cars around here.

edit: oh yeah, your intercooler piping needs another coat of black too!! Uh, even on my tiny *** rhb5 turbo I had on that car I was blowing the lower charge pipe on the passenger side; you might want to weld the edge around it to create a ridge to keep the coupler on.

Anyhow, you could always just flip the intercooler around to hide the paint job, and even then, you could spray that whole side flat black.. that would hide it. it's sorta hard to miss the pillar-mount guages though. Did you just mount the tach to the dash as-is, or did you cut into the dash to stick the tach in there? Hard to tell from the pics.

The tach is cut into the dash. After staring at the dash for a while I just decided that was the best place for it. I only had to cut that one piece of the dash so I can change it back if I want. I'll get some better pictures of that....
I man handled that intercooler piping. I was retarded and for some reason I thought it was going to go through that hole in the body and after about 15 minutes of trying to jam it in there thinking to myself (How the ---- did he get this in there?) and I knew it worked at one time......I felt dumb. I haven't had any problems with the couplers yet. I tightened the hell out of the clamps so we'll see. I've had it up to ~10psi so far.
