what does being a fat ---- have to do with shaving twice a week? Oh and ---- that mach 3 turbo, i almost ripped my face off with that damn thing, plus you have to drag it across your face whereas with my shick extreme 3 it feels more precise.

Plus i thought about it, i go through a 4 pack of blades about every other month, and the fuckers are 8 bucks a pack... so $8 times 6 months roughly 50 bucks, which is how much my electric cost... So we'll see how this works out.

Just gotta make sure you have a new blade for the nutz. Mach 3 turbo makes em smoother than a n1gger in a nghtclub.

Re: The shaving thread

I usually use a trimmer with no attachments to give me that "5 o'clock shadow" look. If I shave with a razor I tend to get damn ingrown hairs. I shave my head daily with a Remington electric razor, and if I'm going anywhere special follow it up with the Gillette Fusion. Still don't get that smooth feeling. Maybe I should bust out the wax.

Re: The shaving thread

Standard blade razors dont last much after 2 or 3 uses, and the electric ones dont cut close enough.

Re: The shaving thread

I use to shave but due to religious beliefs I had to stop.

To the guys with sensitive skin:

yes, even a good razor will pull the ---- out of your skin if you don't shave every day

in other words trim that monkey off of your face before attempting to use that good razor.

get a preshave oil like this one http://www.headshaver.org/reviews/sh...rhprepare.html

you could get the whole "prepare, shave, and soothe" kit that is out there but it is VERY expensive but worth it http://www.zirh.com/product.aspx?f=41

if you just used any preshave oil then shave as normal you would see a huge difference.

I shave 4-5 times a year. for whatever reason, I get free razors in the mail every other year or so for my birthday, or someone in my family decides to buy me one, so I just use whatever. My mach 3 is probably the best out of any of them though.

Re: The shaving thread

I use electric horse clippers, after a good beard session like I just had. Other then that i just use the side burn trimmer of my braun electric, everywhere, close enough.

I used to use blades, but every girl I have ever dated, always seemed to think there was an open invitation to use MY razors, and after one session on leg hair, it look like a truck ran over it.

In the summer I typically shave every couple days, in the winter every couple month's. If I had to work at a refinery or someplace that you had to be clean shaven, I would probably have to bring a razor to work, and get my noon shave on. ::)

I use whatever cheap ---- they have onsale at the time I need new ones. ---- paying ~9 for a ------- razor I'm just going to throw away after a few uses. :3 I had an electric one, but it seemed to miss spots all over the place and you still have to replace the blades in them, which costs about half of what the razor costs. :7

$0.99 no-name razors for me. I shave with them until they make me bleed, then I use them a few more times and then throw them away.

yea, you have to shave against the grain. i dont know why they always shave down on commercials. luckily my hair all grows one direction so its easy

Smith-02 02-07-2008 12:13 AM

Re: The shaving thread

shaving in the direction that the hair points will only result in an undercut stubble. shaving into it will stand the hair folicles up and slice them with a good razor, and rip/break the skin. lotion will act as a barrier when you shave into the hair, between the skin and razor, reducing razor burn/slicing. its quite simple

I buy a huge pack of the cheap single blade disposables from wally-world, you know, the yellow ones.

If you dry the blade off when you are done, it will stay sharp longer. I shave every other day, and get about 8-10 shaves out of a blade.

Re: The shaving thread

I didn't have to start shaving til around my senior year, and now I should shave daily but rarely do.

If I shaved within the past couple days, I can use my electric razor that I got for about $30 at walmart. Doesn't get that close, but it's quick, easy, and I don't have to be careful.

If I haven't shaved in over 2 days, the shits too long for the electric razor and all it'll do is rip out hair one by one for hours. That's when I break out the Mach 3 Turbo. Got some gel that came with it, and I have to shave with the grain or else it'll chop up my face and cause pain. Cover face in shavin gel, each stroke with the grain I rinse the razor, more shaving gel, then go against the grain...unless it's been a week then I have to do the "with the grain" phase a couple times.

My face isn't sensitive but my neck likes to get marks when I use the electric razor. Most recent chic I was ------ with thought I was lying to her about spending time with someone else cuz of it...not sure how to stop it from happenin though and dont really give a ----

And haha, I remember that madtv thing
