Me and my friend are gonna shave my truck ourselves just for the expierience and because it's already a piece. Anyway, i was wonder what tool you all would use to gut the door handle out or do you even cut it out at all?

to shave the handles, you'll probly have to pop the door panel off, and use a socket/screwdriver to remove the door handle, I'll leave the "how do i open the doors now" question up to you. no you are gona wana get a piece of sheet metal and cut it to fit the hole, have it about an inch bigger then the hole all around, either weld it(------ your welds out, don't warp the panel)from the inside, or use Jbweld. then your gona wana fill the hole with Fiberglass bondo, sand smooth, and then put a layer of normal bondo, sand smooth, and the glazing putty.

That a ghetto way of doing it, the rear way is to weld in a patch the pefect size, and then grind it all smooth

Don't just fill the handle in with bondo, it will crack.

I agree with Onyx trucks are made for hauling ----. My uncle lives in the suburbs and he just got a truck that gets like 12 miles a gallon i mean WTF. He is a total yuppy and will never use the bed once! And as our boys and girls are securing our oil supply in the middle east, his yuppy ass with a 2 year old girl is driving around with that gas hog. I am personally not a show truck person. But what ever floats ur boat. Any who shaving ur door handles reduce air resistance ::).

I'm gonna use a couple left over door popers from when a friend did his truck but got new poppers a couple months ago. I'm not a ricer either. I got 2 grand saved up, 1000 comin from sellin the truck and whatever i can get for sellin the turbo off my truck as a kit goin towards a CRX wiht a b18 swap. then it's gettin HMT'd too. 1. Get your door handle off

2. Mix up some small aggregate concrete (Pea Gravel could be could)

3. Pump the concrete through the door handle and fill up the door, or until the handle hole is covered

4. After the concrete cures grind down the flashing even to the door surface.

i just dont see doing all that work to a truck when you could do it to a car that could possible make it look better. good luck when the door poppers break... then you will need to leave the window down like you said :P
