Semnos' Bad Luck

Top right Head bolt chewed up the threads.
Tensioner bolt chewed up the threads.
The tensioner let go when the old OEM bolt was in there on the chewed threads I heard sum unfriendly noises..jumped sum teets >:(..then I found out the threads were gone.
Happened all yesterday.
Put a longer bolt in today for the tensioner it was all good and tight.
Car doesn't start...go check my valve clearence...well seems like intake valves at Cilinder #3 are bend....the valve springs are sitting really low without the cam lobes even pressing them. going to swap the head tomorrow with another one I have in the shed......and the block still has the chewed threads for the head bolt....will have to put the other block in the shed in there..will do that when I'm back from holiday. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Re:Semnos' Bad Luck

dood lookout, because if the valves hit they will dent the pistons, and then u could get a hot spot and burn a hole right through it.

you might be in for another motor :-\

true true.
I will see tomorrow how the piston looks like.
I should have left this stupid car NA and get a new car to boost.

Well the bad luck sucks Sem. But everyone has some bugs to work out of a turbo project, so don't let that piss you off.
