There is software for ODB2 volkswagens to tune them.
there is the neuspeed supercharger & a ton of different turbo kits, vr6 swap, there's a shitload to do to them, the transmission is the weak point.

a ton of people have turboed the 2.0 and there's a bunch of differnet ways to do it. vw's arn't fun to drive though and I ended up selling mine.

I knew a guy with a TDI Beetle. Bitch ran mid 14's. Not HOLY CRAP fast, but not bad for a daily driver. I have no clue what he had done to it.


My sister had a 2.0 Beetle, brother in law blew up the tranny in about 4 months of driving it.

oh and the 2.0 sucked *****

yah the 2.0l vw engines are no so great the 1.8turbo vw is better but they also have some tranny problems if you want power you go vr

They are the same engine but thety are not built the same. VW engines are mass produced in Mexico . Audi engines are still assembled by hand in the same factory where they assemble the Lambo engines in sourcrout ville......chief.

a friend of mine drives a stock jetta tdi and it is the slowest car i think i have ever driven. yea 55 mpg is sweet, but its slower than riding a bike
