I use to be a big fan of the Civic Si when it was 99-00. I actually hate those new Si's.
Performance and money wise, the tC with supercharger is barely a tad bit more expensive than the Civic Si, but it would kick dirt into the Si's headlights when its done with it.
Dunno... probably going to go test drive one in a few weeks. Maybe she'll like it and maybe she'll hate it. <SHRUG>
In response to the getting an 03 scion or civic: I told her to get a car at least 1 year older so at least it wont depreciate as much. Unfortunately the tC just came out and her car is crapping out on her. She is probably going to try to make it to next year with it but we'll see. She has a heavy right foot so the civic will be dead when shes done with it.

...but yea the whole new car thing (especially a new modelthat is untested really) can be a hassle, my parents keep getting screwed with new cars being pieces of ----

The TC is cheaper, and is only available loaded. They have a lot of cool features like reclinable rear seats, two sunroofs, and the front seats fold completely flat so you can sit in the back with your feet strectched out straight forward. That would be nice for gettin with the girls or if you're really ghetto and like to sit with your seat really far back.

she is too rich! I was looking on the website and was building one and the only thing that I would consider doing to the car is the spoiler and the ground effects kit and even then those were pretty damn expensive. $400 is way expensive!
Im just trying to figure how much they would budge with the MSRP. I know invoice is like $15,100 or so...
