What class are you taking via the Qu'ran book?

I'm taking "world religions" class this semester (only religious class my school DOES have) and we basically learn a new religion each week lol. Talking about Islam in two weeks, and I'm actually doing my paper (half of it anyways) on Islam.

a good friend of mine took world religions the semester before me. she gave me all her reports, homework, interviews. EVERYTHING. i didn't do ---- in that class. it was sweet.

:'( you suck lol, those eastern religions screwed me up, so many weird words :l Islam messed me up a bit too with some strange words. Funniest thing is the only perfect test I got wasnt in Christianity, it was in Judaism :P

I'm with Sinner, school's fun. Except for English, where I'm expected to write stupid papers on stupid subjects that I can't swear in for the edification of stupid people whom I have no interest in communicating with in the first place. Talk about mind numbingly dull.

You know what's sad?

I really miss school. I loved college, I loved constantly learning something new and being challenged mentally every day. I also miss being around all of the other students that were ambitious and competitive like me. I miss having stimulating conversations with intelligent people...

Now I work in a company where people don't really try that hard and aren't really out to better themselves or their careers.

Anyways, I know I'm a nerd.

But yeah, hows stats treating you? I actually use regression analysis a lot, I'm glad I came to a good understanding of it in college. Even if you think it sucks now, there might be a time when you need it in the future and you will be gratefull that you took the time to learn it.

Im in school for mechanics for the next 35years, I love it. School/learning is awsome aslong as you are interested in the subject, if ur not drop out and get a job and stop waisting your time

WTF you hate Islamic studies!!??? ??? I loved my middle eastern studies class, I loved to read all about that stuff, of course I took that class after WTC 2 attack and we spent weeks in just doing Q&A stuff about Osama. That prof was bad ass, White dude, but grew up in Eastern Turkey

i don't even know where my school books are. i buy them and lose them. i bought a book for a stat couse i'm taking and i just barely opened it... it's the 8th week of a 10 week course. i didn't even open the book yet, i just opened it for the spss software.
