this type of thing happened to my wife and the phone company won't do sh#t w/o someone filing a police report and the police requesting with court order to trace. it's just easier to change the number and be done with it. they probably aren't tracing...they said we needed to keep a log and let it go on for some time before they would do anything. annoying more than anything since it happened in the middle of the night and kept waking us up.

i havent called them back since the other night. it was just pretty much something to do drunk. it was fun.
