scammers on egay

Check this one out. A guy was selling a 95 Toyota Supra on Ebay. There was no reserve. Starting price was $5000. Here is a list of what was done to the car. The motor was fully built with HKS stuff. Converted to a Single HKS turbo. 2 Sets of Volk Racing wheels, complete body kit, there was alot more ----, to much to list. The thing that got us was the emails. This guy was listed from Berlin, Germany. We got emails back within a minute. Hmm, that is fast, or can it be a computer sending emails back. The sad thing about this is my friend bidded on this after 100 people told him not to. After the end of the auction, a $2000 deposit was required, but the guy wanted only western union. He told my friend not to say what the money was for because he would be taxed. Oh yea the car sold for $7500, free shipping, ---- that. THe funny thing yet, after my friend sent him the money, the guy said he was selling it because he has a new porsche to drive to work. He also said if my friend did not like it, within 2 weeks, the guy would pay to have it shipped back by a airplane. The guy goes by "BHODGE" on ebay, but he is no longer a user. I looked at his feedback of 10, all he sold was shirts from Pennsulvania. To end my friends day, we bought a white metal diecast supra from target and mailed it to him, man was he pissed. What can you do.

Why would someone be such a dumbass and send money to an obvious scammer? Scamming's not cool but maybe somebody needs to rob your friend of $7500 to teach him a lesson. ----, maybe common sense does have a pricetag...

BTW: Tell your friend he can buy my 98 Supra TT, only $4500. Just send me a money order...
