Scammer on H-T, call-a-thon, PM-a-thon, go visit him
So I bought this CRX off of a guy on H-T cause it looked pretty clean and I need a DD while my car is in the body shop getting fixed from the ------- hitting me with the CTS.
Anyways I get there and the car is a bit rougher than it looks in the pics but the interior is real nice so I decide I'll take it, but he tells me he has the title but hasn't registered it in his name yet. So he says that he'll write a bill of sale for me to get home on and send the title to me on Monday (it was Saturday) after he registered it in his name.
Long story short he stopped responding to my PM's, no sign of the title, until I had Buk call him he responded with a PM talkin about don't sweat me and threaten me blah blah blah, then this past Saturday the 29th he sends me a message that simply says "sent."
Now it's been almost a week since he said that and still no title. I sent him another nasty PM and I have no problem going and giving the car back to get my money back this weekend. Buk got his home address and all that but I don't have it anymore.
Cliffs: Got ripped off on H-T by some ****** in WI

Can anybody in WI verify that titles are registered and changed to your name instantly when you buy a car? In IL it takes 4-6 weeks.

I hope ---- works out for you cause gettin scammed for a whole ------- car aint cool. ......but I got to agree with bone, you never give money when you didnt get a title.

Yeah I figured I could trust somebody and I got burned, but I'm not gonna let it go down that way he's not far enough away from me to get away with this.

Now he's saying that I'll have a tracking number in 2 hours cause it got sent back since the zip code wasn't clear enough.
If I don't get a tracking number I'll post the number after I get off work.

Seriously, I would have had a FD instead of a Camaro is people actually had the ------ title, two different FD's and Two different people, no ------- title, what the ----.
