scamers watch who and how you scam
This is for all you scamers out there. A good freind of mine came across a great deal. 93 civic coupe with a gsr in it so we all look at it drive it the car checks out. So after all is said and done the next day he is happy he's got a new toy to play with after a few 2,3 gear pulls he decides since its not registerd or insured he should bring it home when the unthinkable happens. Bang the ------- motor falls half way out the car. Some dumb ass strips the three bolts going in to the block from the motor mount and decides that jb weld will hold it. Thank god he was only crusing at 35 b/c at let say 75-100 there would have been a sad story to tell how 2 teens and mabey a mother on her way to pickup her kids from baseball practice were killed b/c a scaming mother fucker decided they could hold a motor up with j/b weld. Im not big on laws and all that ---- but it sounds like some 1 could have got a manslaughter trial. But onthe bright side of things the block has been tapped motor is secured with new bolts some locktite and the bitch screws. ;D

Re: scamers watch who and how you scam
That's shitty... but I bet you bought it "as-is."

Re: scamers watch who and how you scam
and dont talk about jb weld like that
|
Re: scamers watch who and how you scam
ye he bought it as is and we spent like 1 hour with the car checking everything i had a feeling something was up when the kid posted it had the integra ecu and i saw a p28 in it and that turned out to be an automatic ecu.

Re: scamers watch who and how you scam
jb weld is great but you should try to hold a motor up with it
|
Re: scamers watch who and how you scam
I'd take a baseball bat to his knee caps. Knowingly selling a car like that could be considered attempted vehicular manslaughter.

Re: scamers watch who and how you scam
haha did the po-lice arrive?

Put some goddamn respect in your voice when you speak about JB Weld. Even French-Canadians know how to do this. ::) |

Re: scamers watch who and how you scam
Nope. If the bill fo sale states "as is", it doesn't matter what falls/breaks off the car.

Re: scamers watch who and how you scam
Don't use JB's name in vain. You'll go to Honda-Tech...I mean hell. The JB didn't fail...it was that the C1 wasn't holding it's part of the deal. JB weld is on the same level as Chuck Norris...it's just something not to be played with.

Re: scamers watch who and how you scam
JB weld is more advanced than a FMU!
|
Re: scamers watch who and how you scam
sounds like you guys weren't thorough enough in your inspection ::)
besides, like a motor with jb weld holding the mounts in place isn't going to shake on some hard 2-3 gears pulls. |
Re: scamers watch who and how you scam
I bet you don't even know why it's called JB weld, do you?
That's because it's Jesus Christ's own blend. And you're claiming that the Lord's own creation failed? Hah. ;) |
Re: scamers watch who and how you scam
lmfao Lord forgive me for using your creation in vain. the block was completely striped the kid stuffed some jb in the holes and must have just slid the bolts in but i must say while it held up it was great so

Re: scamers watch who and how you scam
Yea that sucks...no chance for lemon law atleast here i believe thats only on new cars bought from the dealer and only apply to the first owner...
Used modiified cars you should assume have been tampered with and give a very good looking over...the 90 B16 swapped CRX I bough had the bolts for the rear mount stripped but I knew i bought that car as someone elses unfinished project, And honestly the average honda owner is a sleezeball :'( so uness the car is stock assume it is rigged together And don't you Dare even again speak badly about JB weld!!! |
Re: scamers watch who and how you scam
only problem with jb weld is once it hits 375F + it smells like ----.
