I understand I guess if you want to spends thousands to only show your car around the country or some ---- like that, but I hate to see cars like this on the road.

I have a friend who has a show car. Her and I didnt talk for like a year because we got into it about how homosexual it is. ANYWAY she tells me if you dont have headlights off of another car plastered on your ----, you have no hope of even getting an honorable mention.

What I've noticed about most show people is that they KNOW its retarded and ridiculous, but they support each other like some sort of 12 step program group. If you goto a lot of these shows theres almost no one there except owners/painters/body men who also own/work on these cars.

Just my observations on the scene.

homogay. I used to what to be into the car audio scene, because I loved music, but now it's all racing, I don't even have a radio in my car...

i think that everyone who has just recently got interested in imports (like within the past couple of years), starts off on the ricer/show car side of things. after a while, the respectable people, move on to the engine/tuning capabilities of these cars and realize that they were young in the scene and naive, and can't believe that they actually liked that stuff. the idiots who have no concept of style or what makes a "real" car, stay with the rice scene, and yes deep down they know they're morons, and they do need eachother for moral support. if you notice usually, when these terds are in a group, they look like they are on top of the world. but when you see one lonely ricer cruisin the strip, his seat is reclined so far back, not for pimpin reasons but because he's trying to hide from the real import enthusiast's. just my .02

You are right projekteg, I was there too, My first civic was more of a show car. So yes I think we all go thru that stage.
