if it is raining hard than yes it does suck, or snowing really hard. but its pretty good most of the time, I still live with the folks so they got hdtv and all that good stuff and the picture is really good.

heres the real info on satellite. if you have a good installer, you will never lose signal. ever. if you have a poor installer, you will lose signal. always. its cheaper than cable, you get more channels for less money and its an all digital signal. usually for signing up with satellite they give you free tivo like recorders and whatnot which are awesome. i refuse to ever pay for cable again, its overpriced crap. go satellite, get a good installer (someone who uses their tools alignment tools, and doesnt do the "move it around until it sounds good" crap) and you will never regret it.

i usto have satellite a while ago and it sucked big time, whenever it rained it would always ---- up. and in some cases you cant get local channels unless you pay even more.

comcast > everything else

directv pwns the ---- out of cable. it has to be raining like hurricanes for the picture to be shitty. then again cable can do that to if the winds are strong enough to down lines. oh and the directv hdtv package is awesome
