Default Samson AND Floyd946 Go To The Track...

Well, we went to Pittsburgh Raceway Park last night for the Sport Compact Shootout and man there were some sick rides there. I saw the sickest car ever in the all-motor class: 5th Gen hatchy with LS/V, 2.4 crank, 94mm this, and that, and this. I don't know all-motor jibber jabber. Anyhow, it ran a 10.59 and I believe was the fastest car the whole night in all classes.

Floydy ran his car for the first time and couldn't break out of 16s. He has an issue with his shifter and its placement in 2nd, if you know what I mean. EVERY run he missed it and it's to the point I (and others) think it's the short shifter. We'll swap that out today and try it out. However, he trapped 95mph and ran a 16.4 so it has the power for 13s. We pulled from 2nd gear and we were side to side the whole time and he had a set of DRs and to tires in the backk. Just a little bit to tweak and he'll be good. First time ever, so you know how that is.

As for me, Thank you Jesus, Dad, all my freinds who even helped wash the car, and of course ALL of you on HMT.

13.779 @ 97.46 on All-seasons at 22psi in tires. What helped was David's traction bar write up. Finally got it dialed in and hooked. Thanks buddy. My 60' I had to go talk to the people in the tower about. They said if ANYTHING a large bug or moth tripped the sensor otherwise it's right. I pulled a 1.613 60' time. If I DID pull this 60' it was because of a spinning start then hooked AS SOON AS I left the staging lights. Freinds said I spun at the start so I think this is what happened because my R/T was 1.466 and last run before was .1XX I think. No matter. A big thanks to Jeff for starting the site and to ALL of you for helping me reach my goals. God bless.

Thanks Dan, but I wish you could have made it. I was trapping no less than like 97 and lots of 99s. I did 100.00 once at Mason-Dixon and ran a 14.7. LOL. Imagine that. Traction kills your traps.

I forgot to add I was 2 off from 4 cyl power adders quick 16 to move on. One car broke and went to #17 so I missed it by one spot. However, our ------ was .5s LOL. That's between 17th and 18th (me). LOL. I'm pleased. That was out of like 30 some cars and alot were mean cars to begin with.

Best part was this dude here on the way out got braked checked by a Mustang Convertible. Dude throws up peace sign and takes off. Floydy goes to 4th blows past and peaces him out. LOL. On the way back he beat an SRT-4 (white so might have been ACR edtion, who knows). Car has a REALLY good power:weight ratio.

We took Mike's (88crex) Integra to PIR last night and ran a best of 12.3@112 with a 1.8 60 ft on drag radials.

PS - You didn't cut a 1.6 60' on all seasons...no ------- way in hell.
