exactly, i drove my car with 450's and an uberdata base map before i was boosted, it ran perfect, it doesn't supply the extra fuel until it sees boost or else you would be rich in vacuum regardless, but there's still a slight restriction in the exhaust.

well yeah but he will be running extremly rich. I dont know whats his setup but the hack is just used for tunning not to make your car go. You can't expect to run with just larger injectors and a hack you need the turbo to do that.

or you should just fix the charge pipe and keep driving with the turbo, it's not a restriction if the boost is reaching your intake manifold ;)

you can use the hack for n/a too...but when a charge pipe blows you will still run richer than you should because even without boost, the wot settings are gonna be too rich for n/a

or you should just fix the charge pipe and keep driving with the turbo, it's not a restriction if the boost is reaching your intake manifold
oh i fix the charge pipe every time... time to get some good hose clamps and toss the home depo crap

what the hell are you talking about? ??? if you have dsm450s and an SAFC, running your car with your charge pipe disconnected is similar to running your car in vacuum. Even if your turbo is connected, most of the time you're running vacuum. The SAFC simply corrects the signal from your map sensor to allow your stock ecu to run the 450cc injectors. This is true whether or not you're in boost. You can take a stock honda, add dsm 450s, an SAFC, and no turbo, and be able to run it perfect. You can make it run rich/lean based on what your SAFC settings are. It isn't until your MAP SENSOR SEES BOOST THAT IT STARTS FLOWING MORE FUEL!

Sheesh. End of story. :P

home depot clamps/couplers own me too :P i blew one off the other day at 13 psi, all i heard was 'pop' and the car fell on it's ass, i thought it was done, so i got back on the gas a little and heard the turbo spooling, but no boost, and no funny noises or anthing, so i knew i was alright.
