What else do you suggest using then? It's fast an easy. Don't keep any money in your paypal account and only use a debit/credit card to pay and your good. If money get charged on your card and you didn't authorize it they're faucked

Its very easy to say don't keep money in your account then. With the debit card you can only get $400 a day. Withdrawing to your bank account takes 3-4. They can stop the transfer and hold your money. If you have lots coming in each day they WILL get you. Paypal will get you one way or another. As far as other options, there is www.auctioncheckout.com. I have my own merchant account so I process CC orders myself cutting the middle man (paypal) out of the picture.

Why would they stop the transfer?

When you transfer money OUT of your paypal account you are taking paypals means of making money. They stop it to freeze your account so they can then gain interest on the money. No money=no interest=no profit.

Here are the "reasons" of why they can freeze your account. They pretty much cover everything so whenever paypal wants to they can freeze and account at any time



Reports of unauthorized or unusual credit card use associated with the account including, but not limited to, notice by the card issuing bank. This includes notices made by you to your credit card company that a transaction was unauthorized or your account compromised, and is done in order to protect you from further unauthorized use of your card;


Reports of unauthorized or unusual bank account use associated with the account;


Abuse by a buyer of the reversal process provided by the buyer's issuing bank;


Consistent failure to pursue the Buyer Complaint Process described below before pursuing any alternate reversal process provided by the buyer's issuing bank;


Abuse by a buyer or seller of the Buyer Complaint Process;


Complaints received regarding non-shipment of merchandise, non-delivery of services, merchandise not as described, or problems with merchandise shipped;


Initiation by a buyer of a reversal process through the buyer's issuing bank without first pursuing the Buyer Complaint process described below;


Receipt of potentially fraudulent funds;

Well at least YOU would be able to touch it if they did it that way. I guess you feel that its no big deal to FREEZE your money for 6 months so they can gain interest on it. I would not buy that gun. It is worth way more than that, and even if he was triyng to sell it for collage, he would be selling it for more than that price. Autocockers are tricky guns to get working, I'd say he tried installing something and fucked up the hoses, which caused a chain reaction. I would stay clear of that.
