A Sad day....no more homemadeturbo
Alright here it goes....Ive been on this site all throughout my build on my f22 prelude....its gotten me the most out of my engine and money and Im lovin it since I can keep bumper to bumper with STI's....the truth. got about 9 witnesses. So besides that Im selling the car that Ive put my whole teen years til about when I turned 21 and a ---- load of money into the show car with alot of help from homemadeturbo for the dsm/f22 turbo project. That Im selling along with my passat and am just in the need for one car. So heres the decision I have to make. I have had my heart set on either a 04-05 Subaru WRX or STI. Never had anything besides a Honda or Volkswagen.
Anyways what you guys suggest? The 04-05 WRX or the STI. I was thinkin that since the WRX is alot less in payments I could mod it up still with the saved money (rims, springs, maybe exhaust and intake but thats all) while on the other hand the stock STI is basically done and needs nothing.
And for those who have helped out along the way,,,,thank you so much. Ive learned a little too much about turbo charged cars and am hooked as you can tell.

Oi Cunty, times from December 05 Motor Trend on a 2006 STi...
2006 Subaru WRX STI 4.5 13.0
So yeah, low 13s on a good launch and decent driver. My padre has an E46 M3, and man they move, but the STi is cheaper by a lot and just about as fast. M3 is more of a balanced car though

I own an '04 wrx and it's alot of fun in stock form. Not fast, but still fun. IMO I would go with the sti for '04-'05 model years, or if you can jump to the '06 wrx do that as well. the 04-05 sti's used an ej25 instead of the plain jane wrx's ej20, and in '06 they jumped the redular wrx's up to the 2.5 liter as well.
