Sac2bay.....freakin great time

So friday me and 3 buddies took off from Reno, NV to Sacramento, Ca for the Sac2bay support the troops ride. I didn't really know what to expect. We spent the night in Sac at a friends house, did the whole Centerfolds thing etc... Saturday we woke up and met up with the first part of the ride in Sac.

Before we even pulled out of the parking lot the CHP had a helicopter and plane circling us, we thought they would be giving us a hard time the whole way. We sure as hell didn't expect the kick ass help they gave us. They blocked off the entire freeway for our whole ride and 3 stops along the way. Stopping all cross traffic to each destination and keeping an eye on us from the sky. I was very impressed with how nice they were to everyone. It was amazing to be doing 85+ on the freeway right next to a cop. There had to be over 100 of them involved as our "train" of bikes was at least 8 miles long.

So we ended up getting to the final destination which was the Bay area bike bash. It was somewhat disappointing, and the only reason there were a lot of bikes was the cruise that ended there. But never the less it was cool. I think there were an EASY 3000+ bikes. Everyone was really cool and we all had a great time.

After we left the event which was in Plesenton, we decided to ride to Oakland and then to San Fran. It was really nice cruising across the Bay Bridge on our bikes. We stopped downtown and ate at good 'ol Hooters. Then obviously back to our hotel and rode back today. It was a damn good time and I truly couldn't believe the insane difference in power between here and sea level on a bike. Down there my bike would reach for the sky with anything over half throttle in 1st and 2nd......I got some pics also.....check 'em out:
