GM pumps suck, period.

DO NOT buy another from the dealer, 1/3 of those fail within 2 months.

Buy a replacement Walbro from a decent online retailer.

tell him to get somebody to crank it and then he can hit the gas tank with a hammer. Dont b shy smash it good, most will start up.

Yeah sometimes you have to dent the sheild to make good contact with the tank :6

if you think there is no power to the pump why dont u tell him to take a volt meter and just check it:S
