i would go with the rx-7 you can always find another crx but the chance to buy a rx-7 doesn't come very often. RX-7 all the way

come on live a little for god sakes. Whats the point of life without a little challenge. Why have a car that you can't toy with. A rotary is just another puzzle to solve and see how it works ,i find them very fascinating.so why not besides not many people can say the own or owned a rx-7

I spent 1500 subtract 300 = 1200 bucks for a complete setup in a car that's already fun. The only thing that wasn't new on my setup was that dsm bov... I mean sure, I could have done the exact same thing for $3000 bucks.

I love the 89-91 CRX (Si). Lightweight, and has tons of potential, and can be extremely reliable. I have 182 k miles on my motor that I just turbocharged and no problems. Not burning oil, and everything's strong, and is good for a high 13 second car which is not shabby. I realize it's not the fastest, but it's pretty impressive if you consider what I spent to do it, the fuel milage I'm getting, and the reliablity...

personally it all depends what you wanna do. I have seen some bad *** crx's but the same goes for the rx-7. I just enjoy a good challenge

It gets REAL old hearing people say rotary engines dont last long..especially coming fom people that talk about not needing an engine to last long. You just have to treat a rotary differnt than a piston engine ..it is as simple as that. No it will never be as reliable as a honda engine but 45k miles or 80k miles give me a break!!!! That is bull ---- unless you treat it like crap. Have to treat the engine different for sake of time i wont go into specifics. Oh and so maybe it only last 120k miles or 150 big deal you are running an engine that is an engineering masterpiece.

9.1 in the 1/8th in a rex is good for a high 13. I did this at 8 psi and no exhaust. I got a friend with a 91 stang with 302 stroked up to almost 330 something and I beat him and he's not a poor driver. He got a jump off the line but I passed him at about 40mph and keep on going. So yes, I belive my car is a high 13 second car very much. The closest drag here only does the 1/8th, so I have to wait a while before I run the 1/4. I also want to finish my water injection to elimate the ping at high rpms.

9.1 isn't good for 13s, 9.1 is more like 14.5

i ran 9.2 a 1/8th, and in the quater i ran 14.5

here is some slip from one of my jacked up runs, its hard to use this as an example, since i coasted over the finsih line
