why not just find an s2000 drivetrain and boost that?
Mostly cause im poor, around where i live a gsr swap runs 5g's, imagine an s2000 Yah, the weight on the nose would suck, but im mostly concerned with straight line ---- anyways. My family builds old 30's and 40's hotrods and cant grasp the whole honda thing, this will at least let me tell my Dad to jam it in his *** the next time he starts laughing at my civic.....i thought about a t-bird irs, but again, will it live with slicks and torque? I doubt it, I think i will wind up with the 4.3 i have at home already, lot's of ---- out there for them and still fairly small.....i tried the search for "small block honda" and nothing came up, any idea where i can find some pics or a write up on someone dumb enough to try this?

if ur poor then reconsider ur swap options... converting to rwd then swapping a different motor such as a v6 or any other + management + wiring + custom mounts n blah blah blah. but ur poor...? reconsider ur car options.... jus start with rwd n take ur motor out of ur bronco n fit in it the already rwd car

When putting a small block (minus 2 cylinder) in a civic making gauges work should be the least of your worries think about how tall the motor is you'll need a cowl hood, the drvie shaft will be *** short. you basically need to make a tube chassis car. good luck, Build a hot rod instead, like your dad tells you

yah but i have a taleneted welder that thinks this will be huge fun, and we have tons of sheet metal, square tubing, etc etc....i have most of the drivetrain already, and fuel Fuel cell and a carb make that pretty simple, blow through and a turbo or a small plate under the carb, yah the cowl hood will be a pn, im not sure but if the engine is sitting far enough back maybe with teh 4.3 i can get away without it....lot's of little ---- that will nickel and dime me to death im sure, but still i doubt it will be a big buck project, im not above jb weld and duct tape......---- you would be amazed what i can do with coat hangers.....

Don't know if it will help but maybe you can get some ideas from the Ford Focus with the supercharged 4.6 in it. I believe the company name is Wolf Technology.

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/321109/2

http://www.cars-on-line.com/16969.html

I think the first link sells conversion kits which I bet could be modified to work on a honda. Don't know cost though.
