I dunno, no, im hoping it will be ok, the original plan called for a small block but i suspect it will be a huge pain and i will have to majorly cut the firewall etc, so i know i can make good power on a 4.3, and have a little more clearence help....i just think it's something weird you wont see often, i love my car, but im also a muscle car freak, so why not have both?

I think it would be easier to do it rear engine and use a caddy transaxle. There is a handful of rwd hondas around and the majority are rear engine. It would probably be less cutting and welding to build a firewall and mount a engine.subframe in the back.

don't even use a tunnel...jsut run it through the cabin ;D

and use JB Weld and duct tape, it'll hold better

rwd civic would be nice but a small block would kill the handling, I would go with something lighter and smaller like a buick all aluminium 215 v8, then turbo it. Stay with a ifs rear end like a newer t bird with the 8.8 and you would have a killer little car 8)

why not just find an s2000 drivetrain and boost that?
