RUNNING WITHOUT PCV VALVE?
god damnit i feel like a sped, do i have to disconect the bottom hose on the pcv valve to get it out??
*EDIT* I changed the title from : cant get the ------- pcv valve off...now its :runnin without a pcv valve. just so you dont get confuesed. |

Use a pliers to hold the valve. Pull up and twist the valve while your pulling.

go get a battery termanial puller from autozone if all else fails. they are like $4 and can be found by the batteries.

ok i got it off but the bastard broke in half ::) so i pointed the bottom hose torwards the ground and plugged the IM...but now my car is smoking from the exhaust, witch is in my engine bay so it looks like i blew a head gasket :P
anyway i still dont 100% understand the whole thing about not needing a pcv valve when your boosted, did i forget somthing ??? |

wtf?? i made a post about a catch can or somting and pcv valve came up and somone said i dont need one! and i searched on honda tech, lots of people saying you dont need one...damn now im confuesed

I think you're confused.
The vent coming off the valve cover that was hooked to your intake pipe should either be vented into the atmosphere with a small ricer filter or brought to the intake side of the turbo. The valve on the actual intake manifold that runs to the back of the motor should stay intact. its on the charge piping, if you leave it open you're gonna get idle surge under vacuum, and a big pressure drop under boost. plug it. easiest way to do the pcv system on a f/i honda is simple- toss it. just vent out the hole where the pcv valve plugs in, and put a breather filter on the valve cover. not quite as effective as vacuum (either use vacuum pump or draw vacuum off the exhaust) but a lot easier.
