OK , if a cop is trying to pull you over, stop!!!! It's not worth the risk of jail. BUT on that note we were all young and stupid at some point in time. Have you ever ran from the cops, whats your story???

i got a couple
Ok, i was in my friends 93 civic with a GSR swap and some bolt ons and i was racing this guy from the other street. We exit the neighborhood and get on some surface streets and we line up. Light turns green we launch i spin 1st....2nd and half of third and pull about 15+ cars on his b16 4door with more mods. So he says some bs and he wants to line up again, so we do. We launch but this time the vtec in the car in driving doesnt kick on and i barely lose..... we keep racing about 3 or 4 more times and we are slowing down from about 120 or so and i look in the rear view and i see some red and blues coming up quick. So i say ---- it and gun it, to my suprise the vtec starts working again and i leave the other guy behind. we both make a turn @ the next intersection and get on it again, i look in the rear view and i see two cops flying down the road we just turned from. I found out later that night that the ground for the engine had come off so thats why the vtec wasnt engaging..


2nd time
I was just going to the store for some reason with my cousin and a friend, we pass by this guys house who has a prelude and his friend points @ my car and tells him something. The guy with the prelude is the brother of the guy with the b16 4door and thinks he is a bad ass cause he swapped in a h22. So the guy flips a bitch and starts to follow me, i had the n20 bottle in my car from the races the previous night so i didnt mind to run. So we get on the main roads and we do a roll on from about 20 and i pull 2 cars on him to about 80 and he forces me into the suicide lane to pass him. We get to the next intersection and i slow down to let him by and he makes a right @ the light and just gets on it and i give chase. Im reeling him in @ about 120 and i glance to the left and i see a cop coming out of the neighborhood and i get on the brakes and start downshifting like crazy. I end up turning into a 160 degree turn @ about 45 and fishtailing into my neighborhood. I start hauling ass down this street and i see the cop through the houses. Luckily i know ppl on this street and i park my car in their yard and i walk home...

both tims i was shaking, but its a good adrenaline rush

lots in my chevelle, couple in my crx, two in my integra... none in the camaro though :P


lets see... they all happen about the same.

pull outta the gas station in my old chevelle, light em up, click er into 2nd... keepin smokin... look on other side of the highway... cops slowing down to turn around, i keep in it. get to my turn... turn down the road, floor it, turn again, floor it, turn into my driveway straight into the garage, luckly i had left the door open :)

all the times in the chevelle they happend the same way...

in my crx, i was speeding and just kept goin when the cop was tryin to turn around... drove up some back road, turned onto a gravel that overlooks the road, got out took a piss. he never came up there.

in my integra.... i was driving up st john's bridge exit... i was goin to go to the parts store in st johns... there was like 5 buses on the onramp... and it was two lanes going up and one down... and i didnt want to wait behind them all the way acrossed the bridge so i passed them all and i was going about 115... and a semi was coming down the onramp.. and right behind the semi was a ------ bike cop... he flipped a bitch and i kept in it... dunno how fast i was going... but im sure he thought i was screwed cause there is only one place to go... acrossed the bridge... but i got into the lane the buses were in and when i got to the top... there is a on and off ramp on the other side to get on the brige... from the other direction on the highway... i slowed down and whipped a bitch acrossed the lanes on the very begining of the bridge, almost hit a van waiting at the light and back down the other side... never saw the bike cop again :p

Only 1 time I have ever ran from the cops.. I was racing my friend Emily in here Trans Am 455 4speed down a pretty busy road late after a movie one night. We were side by side going around 75-90mph, all of a sudden she slows way way down, but I continued to just keep hauling ass. Next thing I see is 3 cops sitting in a parking lot with their parking lots on. As I blow by just a little over 100mph on this 35mph road I look back and see all 3 cops pull out with their lights on. I looked over at my buddy and he just says "just stay in it" I hit the lights and my brake light cut switch and made the first turn at about 50mph, I then imediately made another turn, and then another turn down this deep deep development of houses. I was freaking out and didnt know what to do so I pulled in this guys house all the way up in his driveway. Turned the car off, and me and my buddy went running off into the woods. We stayed out there for about 30 mins, then hopped back in my car and drove home.

Only time I have ever ran from the cops and got away.. I called up my friend emily the next day and she was laughing so hard at me. Shes like "I tried to slow down because my radar detector was going off"

Never run from the cops in a car but I've had plenty of fun times running from them after parties have been busted up. Hell I've even been tackled once. Those fuckers can't touch me though after I've had a ---- load of beer and I'm running drunk through the woods.

I'd be easier to catch after drinking because I'd have to stop and pee all the time.


I think I'll wait until my car is up to the "average" level before I try running from the cops, they might catch me and have a burnout contest to see if they let me go, that would be no good.

i tried that ---- once in a 1.5L 92'hatch no engine mods at all. turning in and out of blocks cause i had a long headstart. i ended up in jail with a freakin DUI. i just didn't feel like pulling over cause it took such hard work to get to 80mph in that car.

what i posted 2 posts up happened in 99'. back in 97' i made a right from the laeft turn lane at a stop light, i cut infront of 2 rows of cars that where stoped at that light and made a right. there was a cop behind 2 cars on the right turning lane and he saw me do that ghetto move so he turned his lights and siren on and the 2 assholes that where infron of him knew he was gonna try and pull me over so they made a right so he could come after me. by the time the cop made a right i had turned into some neighborhood blocks and lost him. this was in my 86' mint condition celica gts. i wanted to boost that car so bad but no $$ or know how to do that.

i got the ultimate story for you guys
i was running this kid on the high way, we started from a dead stop(witch was so stupid because there where a good amount of cars on the highway) we both had the same cars basicly so i new it was gonna be neck n neck. so were doin about 80 when all of a sudden i see a realy briught light behind me, thinking it was a cop i slow down and come to find out it a helicopter about 100 ft above me. i didnt know what to do so i just kept goin, hoping that he would follow the other kid :P nope sure didnt. i cruised on the highway and on back roads for about 10 mins and this guy was all over me. ---- i even stoped under this underpass and the guy landed this fucker on the ground in front of me. so i pulled a Ue and went the oppisit way(mind you im shittin my pants the whole time thinking theres gonna be a cop car commin out of know where to get me)so i quite goat thinkin and started heading to the local airport witch was about 15 min away. so after about 10 mins of this guy with his spot light all over my car, he was gone ???. the thing is i never made it to the airport. you sould have seen the looks on the peoples face when i was passing them on the highway. they must have thought that there was a serious drug bust goin on or that i stole a car.
so after he was gone i could see him in the distance heading to hatford(our small ass city) so i just went home where my friends where waiting for me. they also so helicopter on me and i was on the phone with them while he was on me. i was shitting my pants because i new that a cop was gonna be at the house any second because the heli must have goton my liscens plate. BUT they never showed ??? ??? ??? ???
to this day nothing ever happened. later i found out from the kid i raced, that there was a drug bust in the city and thats why the chopper went off in that direction.

i have never told anyone this story, only a couple friends of mine that where there no about it.

sorry this was so long but i justed wanted to tell you guys about it. and trust me this is no joke!!

i believe you you must've realy benn freaked out that day. especialy when it landed at the end of that overpass. crazy stuff there. i've learned not to run from cops. even if they don't catch you then, they could see your car and recognize it someother time. especialy in the time we're living in. alot of freeways and turnpikes have surveilance cameras now. :o not to mention alot of cop cars have'm too. :'(

i was in Ontario (california) at the street races one night... just having fun with the HMT nitrous kit. There were only like 50 cars there.... and i was on my way back to the end of the line to race again... when i see the black and whites coming in from both sides of the street... so i busted a bitch, drove into a smaller street maybe 6 cars fallowed and so did some piggies.... and i just gunned it driving into smaller streets till i didnt see any lights behind me anymore... beeing in an industrial area, i drove behind a warehouse, and parked the car between 2 trailer trucks in the loading docks, I locked the car and hid in the trunk for about an hour or 2, then i drove away... and as i was leaving you could see the street filled with towtrucks and some people walking home...

happened couple times when i was doing 3 digit speed on the 110 fwy..all in a sudden i would see blue and red light flashing like half miles away behind me...i freak out eveytime and ran with my low baller Ferrari ::) :P

i am not worring about getting caught but worring about all the trouble i will be going thought with all the ---- i`ve done to my car.
i`ve heard a few ppl need ot "pop their hood' after getting pulled over.

i didn't have my own car a few years ago, just barely got my license after I was put on 'hold' from getting my licenses. Of course, being that I just got my license after almost not being able to get them for a few years, I drive nice and safe. That's right safe. I went to the back alley of a PepBoy and started messing with the car. Tryin to make it do burnouts and stuff.

So I do my last attempt and as I take off, me and a black and white are going head on, we both stop, he started to get out, I figured I didn't do ---- so I just go. I look in the rear view and the cop jumps back into the car, so I gun it.

I'm rippin' through this parking lot and go out into the street and he's following. Thank god for traffic, because i used some mad dipping tactics. Cut off so many damn cars and ran some reds.

Well I pull into another shopping center, and get out. Walked around and I saw him pull in, so I hop back in an bone out. Went to a buds house, to put it short wasn't that much of a bud. So I went home, took all the side streets I could. Chilled at the house for over an hour, then went back to the shopping center where I was doing my 'burnouts' and parked the car and returned the keys.

I was paranoid for the longest ------' time, cause the car was there on a daily basis, and the cop could roll by anytime and be like 'HEY!'

Well that's my story, and to finish it all off, this was in a Saturn :o Yes a saturn, a ------- 4dr automatic saturn.

I've ran a few times. running from a cop after getting caught Canyon racing is hilarious, those fuckers always try to chase us down the hill, they never learn. I mean, come on, a ------- crown vicoria vs. a purpose built turbo civic canyon racer? I'm just waiting for the day when they get smart and just have a car waiting for us at the bottom of the hill. then, I'd be fucked.

LOL. Once one of my friends, decided that they were gonna try to go back to the busted up party and steal a keg. I hid a little ways back into the woods and watched. It was the funniest ---- ever to watch him sneak up grap a keg that was probley 10 ft away from a statie and then go booking it back into the woods. I think he made it mabey 100 feet before the cop caught him and pretty much kicked his ass.

i never ran from the cops however i had to flee the scene when i was doing some illegal dumping in a industrial area.

I was in my dads s-10 with the 4 banger motor...anyway me and my girls brother had to get rid of this couch. We 1st went to a highschool nearby and they told us that we couldnt do this and blah blah blah...so we leave and my inlaw is all mad cause the guys at the highschool was giving him ----.
So we then proceed to drive to a place i think is good for dumping ----. We get to this small side street in a industrial area and figure its a good place cause its not lit very well. I tell him to jump in the back and get reeady to push it. What i didnt explain to him was that i needed to turn the car around and hide between this big rig, he decides its ok to push it out as im moving and this guy down the street yells "Hey!"

i look back and see him jump in a gib ass chevy truck and im like holy ----, i punch it and take the 1st right onto the major street. He's right behind me and my inlaw is in the truck bed..and im ------- flying west bound. i continue and then make a crazy ass left into a small street ( i dont have my lights on either but didnt realize this ) he still follows, i then make a sharp right on the 1st street and hes still behind but im losing him...i was so ------- scared cause i had borrowed the truck to move my furninture. anyway im still going in and out of small streets almost ------- drifting but not really. and as i keep making all these turns the truck behind me starts falling further behind me...long story short i lost him and was ------- excited like nothing else. my heart was ------- pumping so hard and my inlaw jumps out the back and is like
holy ---- man you lost that guy..you know how to drive!

all this time he was in the back and i could here him tumbling about...it was great but ---- that im never doing that again!

With me driving i ran from the cops twice one time there being no chance and the other time i was in my girls clk with her trippin on boomers. The time in the benz was ------- funny as hell cause i already had a huge ass start-i passed him going 75-80 and as soon as i saw him i just floored it so yea no way he was catching me.
The second time was in my CRX w/ b16-i was playing tag with my friend who has a Civic with a B18 with type r ---- internals or something. I had underbody lights yes i know i'm a fag but whatever ---- looked sick. We both passed a cop coming towards us going fast as ---- (i honestly wasn't paying attention) slowed down slightly to watch him slam on the brakes a pull a u turn. Then floored it.... i paniced when we we're going around a turn and slowed down a lil and my boy flew by me so i just kept going and turned into some sluts driveway and stayed there for an hour. He ended up getting pulled over a town over because "it looked like a car he just saw" no tickets no nothing.

My boy dusted a cop in a 4.6HSE down a dirt road with me sitting shot gun....craziest ---- ever.

Ive ran from the cops 3 diffrent times..
All 3 times in my BPU srt4

I was sitting at a stop light right next to my friends new supercharged integra.. So we decide it would be a good time to test our cars.. So i rev to about 1800rpm and he revs to about 5k and we hold the revs and launch on green..
Little did we know a unmarked car was sitting behind me at the light.. So we race up to about 110 and i had him by 4 or 5 cars. I then do the post race check( check for cops in all directions). I see blue and reds coming from this cops grill like 10 cars back. So i turned right on red and he pulled the integra over that went left and got stuck...
Later the guy in the integra told me he just got a warning and the cop was asking about my car asking what i had done.. He said he was back there spinnin tires trying to keep up.. I Laughed my ass off...

Racing a s2000 on the feeder road and a supercharged 2000 SI..
WE all line up doin about 40mph and we do the 3 honk start.. I immediatly pull about 1 car and shift to 3rd and pull 3 or 4 more and hit 5th(120mph) and pull 5 more.. Hes buslengths back.. So we all slow down for the fast approaching red light. We all get in the left turn lane as the cop gets next to us and turns his lights on and shines the light on us.. I figured ---- that, theres 3 of us he can only get one.. So the light goes green, we all turn left and then immediatly turn down a small road to the right. I see the cop follow pursuit on me as i make another right and my friends go straight.. ----.. SO i make another right! Back onto the feeder road and punch it hard.. Spin through 1st all through second and leave a nice patch in 3rd. I get on the onramp drive up 3 exits and get off to goto my hotel room...

My srt4 was much faster than the cops...

I've ran from the cops plenty of times on my bike, but that's different. They don't even have a chance. When iw as younger I used to look for them to chase me. That was some fun ----.

One time I was in my old 88 Toyota truck. I had a decent suspension setup on with some 31" BFG's and some other ----. I was following a buddy out to the desert. We were hauling ass up a slightly curvy road. I was coming around a turn with my tires squeeling like a mother fucker(camber was fucked) and all of the sudden a cop comes the other way. Oh ----. All I see are brake lights so I kept it gunned. I didn't know what to do, I was thinking, and thinking, and then I saw my opening. A side street that was just before the turn ended. I slammed on the brakes and locked the front tires up, whipped the steering wheel and pinned it. I thought I was going to roll it, but it held up. I jst started turning on every street I could see to get as far away as possible. I drove around the neighborhood for like 30 minutes beore I tried to leave. I got to the desert where my buddy was and he was like "Did you see that cop fly by us?" I was like "Yeah, he was chasing me!"

Hi my name is Eli... i got for you guys... not as exiting as doing 140 down a back street but it was scary.. when i was 17 me and my best friend were driving around w/ some friends looking for a good place to drink.. my friend had a lumina apv mini van that we had been ------- up bad, didnt care much about cause well.... it was a mini van. well one of our friends says he knows a place we can offroad a little, and then drink. were like ok, but is it legal to be back here, and he is all yeah i used to come back here all the time. we drive in about 1 mile and stop, were about to start drinking when we saw what looks like 3 sets of head lights coming at as from maybe 3/4 mile away, and we figured that it was some more people out wheeling around, but wait now there is onle one set of lights. then 2 again then 1 then 3 so we we freak out and start heading back, well let me be the first to tell ya mini vans dont off road well and this truck is gaining on us.. we make to the road and th guy is right behind us, start hauling ass down the road and turn in to some apts getting built well this truck had us, and were turning down anyway we can trying to lose him. we come to a dead end. it was a curb then about 50 feet of grass then the main road and were like ---- it, its only a 5 inch curb go for it. we jump the curb and find out it drops about a foot but its to late, just gun it!!! all of asudden we find out how loud a strait six is w/ no exhust!! make it about 2 miles down the road and the guy fallowing us just flips a bitch.. so we go to a gas station and me and 3 of my friends have to pick up the back of the van and have my best friend pull the detatched exhust out so we can drive home w/ out it dragging. we go back the next day to the place we were "off roading" the place we could legaly be and see a sign that says AIR FORCE PROPERTY NO TRESPASSING!!!

About 2 years ago I was street tuning my 99 ex with a G-tech. I was with my brother-in-law on a side road, totally dark, and completely empty. He got off the car, for weight reduction, so I could run a little faster and was going to wait for me outside until I came back. I go and everything is running fine, all of a sudden I see this car coming, I think it is a cop, because of the headlight shape, but I’m already doing like 70 on the 35 zone, so I was like ---- it, if it is a cop, he already clocked me, so I keep going, as soon as he passes me by I see for a fact it is a cop, instead of slowing down I just kept going, I see him slow down and turn around. Right there I was like ----, he is coming for me and my brother-in-law is all the way back there waiting for me. I keep going doing about 90-100 until I get to a gas station, all this time the road was empty and this is the first sight of civilization. I stop there to call my brother-in-law on the phone.

The cop had him in “custody”, asking questions of what he was doing out there at that time of the night alone, and blah blah. My brother-in-law didn’t know what to say so he just told him the truth. Then the cop said that he started following me but he had not clocked me speeding, he was going to pull me over because he thought I had a headlight out. Then when I was on the phone with my brother-in-law, I could hear the cop telling him, just tell me to come back, that he wouldn’t do anything against me.

I was thinking is he playing with us and just wants me to go back to arrest us or what. Anyhow the cop let us go, he said he actually drag raced also and had a 12 second camaro. He just sent us home. Ever since then I watch every single car coming on the other side of the road to check if it is a cop car.

The other time happened about 2 weeks ago in the WRX. It was about 12 midnight, and I’m just cruising home, taking it easy. Then I’m almost home and had to stop on a red light. A older Ford f-150 pulls next to me with a couple of rednecks in the cabin drinking beer and I guess their girlfriends in the bad drinking also. They start pointing and talking ---- about the Jap car. I was trying to ignore them, until the light turned green, the guy was actually trying to race me, of course that ticked me off, so I went ahead and quickly was in front of him by like 8 car lengths, and let go of the gas doing about 80 on a 45 zone.

Then I see him coming again fast to catch up, at this point I don’t know if I pissed them off and will try to throw some beer bottles at my car or whatever, so I gun it again now I’m doing about 90 and keep pulling away, when I look at the other side of the road I see a cop coming, slow down and turn. I kept going, took the exit to my house doing about 70, and some back roads until I got home, quickly to the garage and inside. The other guys in the pickup kept going straight, I’m pretty sure he got pulled over.

heh. wrx's to rednecks are like kias. they think their slow. this one guy an in old beat up truck had two girls in it and me and my brother where cruising, and the girls where like, hey hows it going guys, and we where like, pretty good. then the light lit greenbe and we booked. hey what else can you do with a stage 2 from cobb tuning? 285 atw baby!

this is a little bit different. me and my friends were driving up to old lyme CT to his beach house. one thing they didnt mention to me was that on the way home from NY that day they had been railing cars with paintballs and had been chased by a few people and most likely had there plates called in a few times. so they pick me up around 7 and we start the 2 hour drive up there. we get there around 9 unpack blah blah. we decide to go out to get some food. on the way there theres this 5.0 mustang trying to ---- with us. we are driving my buddys 02 wrx. after we beat the 5.0 like 3 times, he gets pissed and cuts us off. so the genious that my buddy is, he busts out the paintball gun and shots the fucker a bunch of times. so im sitting in the back seat, and pretty much cant do anything. the mustang starts to chase us and we lose him pretty quickly and get back on 95. we go a few exits and get off. about 5 mintues from the house 3 state police cars with lights and sirens blairing fly by us. we take the first right we see and my buddy gets on it. hes going about 110 on this back road (man if u could of video taped this it would have been the sweetest wrx commercial ever)all of a sudden there are lights in front of us and two cop cars blocking the raod. so he rails the brakes and in a matter of seconds 2 more cop cars are behing us. WE WERE FUCKED> like 6 cops come running out guns drawn. yelling get the ---- out of the car now blah blah blah. drag all of us out of the car hand cuff us and throw is in the grass. in the end we all spent an night in jail and got off with 200 hours of Community serive and 2 years probabtion. easy to say i never hung out with those guys again.

I was about 16.

Sitting at the base of a mountain road drinking beer at the back of my truck with two chicks and my friend Steve, waiting on some other ditzy chick to catch up so she wouldn't get lost.

She comes around the corner and keeps rolling by, repeatedly saying "COP, COP". Two seconds later a cop comes around the corner. My friend Steve takes all our beers and disappears into the woods. The two girls and I bail into my s-10 2wd truck and start mobbing up the mountain toward the party. I am hauling ass up the mountain, sideways around every corner, and stop midway and throw my cooler in the ditch, and then rush the rest of the way up to the party.

We then lead everyone at the party, which was just getting started (ITS WAY TOO EARLY TO BUST US DAMN YOU!), out to a deserted road where no one would be found. A few minutes later I find my friend Steve wandering through the woods. Turns out he had a scanner in my truck so we just listened to that til the cops gave up on looking for us, went back down to the party spot, started a big fire, and partied all night. Oh and a trip 1/2 way back down the road to get my cooler.

Turns out by the scanner that they were in fact headed to bust the party so it worked out nicely.
