thought I would post up the ribs I am making today.

Start with the rub:
Mix in a bowl Salt,Pepper,Cayenne Pepper, Onion Powder, and Garlic Powder

I will be cooking these in a dutch oven. Usually I use charcole but today the weather sucks so we will be doing them in the oven. Turn the oven to 250 and throw the dutch oven in and let it get warm.

Now, unpack your ribs.

Peal off the membrane from the back of the ribs

Now, drizzle olive oil on them

and go ahead and rub in the rub we just made

Now, Cut up some fresh garlic and onions

Pull the dutch oven out and drizzle some olive oil on the bottom

Toss in the garlic and onion

And finally put the ribs on top

Put the lid on and check back in about 4 hours.

And just a sneak peak after about 2 hours in the oven.

Ribs are good no matter what the occassion is. The same goes for mexican food. Those things look mad yummy.

Ok, now for the finishing touches

Fire up your BBQ. Try not to go to overboard >:D

Now pull the ribs out of the oven. This is harder than it sounds. Make sure you use tongs and reach all the way under the ribs. If you try to grab it from the end, they will fall apart. These bad boys are tender. notice the meat coming off the bone already.

Drop them on the BBQ for 3-4 minutes and slather with your favorite BBQ sauce

Weather was crap for smoking or else it would have been a repeat of these bad boys ;) These ribs turned out so so. I agree on the rub. I was really lazy today. The ribs were supper tender but smoking them is the only way to go. Meh....

Man I don't give a ---- what kind of rub or if it's smoked. Ribs are good no matter how their cooked. Hell I'd punch a hole in the side of a pig and tear his rib cage out, throw it ontop of my exhaust manifold and eat it like that.

The best ribs I ate was in a restaurant I worked to. It was in the oven (not conventional oven) for 3-4 hours at 200-250 F with lot of sauce on them.

It was so tender and good. Even your grand'ma with no teeth could eat it! :y

At least if I had place for a BBQ :'(

my uncle boils his ribs then rubs them and then grills them with hickory they beez the bomb..
