Dont mean to be an ***, but if the alts putting out 14.2 then the whole cars electrical system is at 14.2v anywhere so long as the ground is good. Wiring it to the alt seems like a not so good idea if you ask me. I dont know that much about that concept, nor have I head of it before, but im 99% positive that if you slap a dvom anywhere on a power wire while the cars running itll show whetever the alts putting out (14.2v).
Other than that, bad *** car. I can only dream... *drool* not to mention its a 4 dr

you have a high flow pump in your car? i have had one...when my headlights, wipers, etc were on you could hear the noise from the pump change when the lights blinked or the wipers went...
i have heard of shitloads of DSM guys doing this, pretty common from what im told... i would just like to know how Ross did it....

Actually i do. Thats exactly what mine does also at idle, but Im not pulling 14.2v at idle. as soon as i rev it past 1200 it does go to 14+ volts and my headlights/blinkers go back to normal. But my alt doesnt put out 14v at ildle (underdrive pulley), not to mention i dont think it really matters at ilde (for amount of flow), once the car revs up (where flow matters) it puts 14 out. I dunno, i still dont see it being worthwhile. I could see thicker guage wire for amp draw, but thats about it. My wires didnt get hot after driving to 3.5 hrs strait to cincy so I cant justify putting thicker guage wire either. Thst just my opinion though. Im not ******* the idea, I just want to see it in action and that it made a difference so i can justify it for myself.
