Default Ron Paul events.....

Went to a couple Ron Paul events today. The first was a book signing at Borders. Never thought to get in line behind I would estimate 3-4000 people.

The second event was a bbq put on by MN for limited government. The first speaker was Bob Barr

I had my kids with me, and they were getting bored, so we went to the playground across the park. There having probably the only moment to himself was Ron Paul, while around 3000 people on the other side of the park waited for him to speak.

Does he acknowledge that he doesn't have a chance?

You know he has to genuinely care about the progress of our country if he's still out there despite his ability to win the election.

I'll be there at some point tomarrow. It's my sons first day of Kindergarten so i have to go, but after that I'll be there to see Barry Goldwater Jr., Jesse Ventura, RP, and Sara Evans in concert. :1

It's not about running for President anymore, it's about promoting real ideas instead of an American Idol Presidency.

Good ----, thanks for sharing your pics. Things sure have come a long way from 18 people in a meetup group getting together at the library.

I wish I could go to the rally, looks like its going to be fun.

If I get any pics from tomarrow, I'll post them here.

I'd also like to go stir up some ---- in St Paul this week (20mins away). I won't dress as a hippie or anything, but if I do that I'll post here as well.

Crazy ---- for today was the park that they decided to have the bbq in was in the middle of a residential neighborhood. On the way out I met a wacky anti-war Obama supporter who welcomed me to the neighborhood. She seemed kinda shocked that they decided to have a Ron Paul event in the middle of her no name neighborhood. She mentioned that she had just come from an anti war protest at the Republican convention.

As much as I hate tree hugging hippie fagfucks, as I passed the xcel energy center on the way home I couldn't help but think of the joy of seeing a riot cop dead in the street. Not that he deserved it, but that he sold himself out for money, defending empty suits. ---- em.
