i could tear him to peices in a debate about it.

he says there was no domino effect after we left vietnam, and the communists/soviets didn't try to take over more countries directly.

maybe this is because we showed them that we would fight against this, you can beat your ass that if we wouldn't have put up a fight in korea and vietnam that they would've ------ throughout asia, instead of just north vietnam and north korea.

I know you just watched the same video that rawr posted, and he said pretty clearly, that the domino effect was to say that after we left, the whole region would be communist, which it didn't. That's about it.

I don't remember, was the original gulf war a UN ordeal?

"The first thing that happend was there was no domino theory. The reason why we were over there was to prevent the domino theory that that whole region would be engulfed by the soviets and they would all become communists."

That isn't the only reason someone would attack us. This would only be the case if the world were peaceful and no one was ever scared.

Other countries might be scared that we could be planning something, even if we weren't. Or maybe they want something we have.

I don't think we should be in Iraq, but I also don't think we should pull out completely. We're there, we gota finish the damn job.

I do think we should eliminate SOME of the bases tho.
