Roll cage/roll bar installed

I finally got arownd installing my roll cage/roll bar what ever you want to call it. I also got new seats and new harnesses. Now I have to upgrade the turbo and then I will be ready for next year. No more getting kicked off the track ;D 98ctr

PS: big thanks to my friend Wayde Segawa for helping me weld the cage in.

Looks good man. When you go to the track and they run the tech inspection, do they check out the plates you used and the welds etc.? Just wondering because I did mine myself and wasn't sure if I needed a licensed welder to do it up for me. It came out fine though.
Also how much room is there between the main hoop and your roof? It was a tight fit for me, but I guess it's better than being too close to your head :-\

I don't think they check your cage too much. They will tell you if there is something wrong with it, if its obvious, but I don't think they get down and dirty. There is about 1/2" gap between the loop and the headliner. I made mine a tight fit too so I can retain as much room in the car as posible. 98ctr

I got a gt35r that I need to install, and make a 3" downpipe instead of the 2.5" that I have now. 98ctr

I hear ya, better safe than sorry and I beleive there is a limit as to how low the main hoop has to be. Here's a few shots of how close mine is as well. it was a tight squeeze.

No blinging seats and harness's here though. Maybe someday.
