Default Picked up a new 240 for 550 dollars *update with new pics @ bottom*

91 240sx SE, so it has the LSD diff, has SE rims with like 25% tread, engine has 36 miles on it but the rings friend and the headgasket got toasted, the guy put 36 miles on a brand spankin new engine without water in the radiator and toasted it, the car is salvage title it as hit in the rear but the damage isnt too bad, its 5 speed and the interior is decent, although that doesnt matter since its getting completely ripped out.

pics in a sec

yup yup, ima rip this engine out, throw some forged pistons in, reuse the bearings and crap, resurface the head and put it into my friends 240 and boost the crap outta the engine, But as for this car, its getting the VG30deTT 300zx twin turbo swap. all the tt crap will be ditched for a single turbo setup since the twin doesnt fit, gonna have to custom some mounts a bit farther forward and get a custom driveshaft, weld up some manifolds and plumbing and such and it should be done, im aiming for atleast 375 hp on stock injects, and 500on nismo 555cc's.

sounds like a mean plan.....but is all that work worth it.....just seems like it would cost alot thats all new motor new mount location single turbo set up and what not just seems like it would be alot of money for 375 or 500 hp

i could go sr20, like everyone else in the world, but me personally i like low end torque, and 3.0l of displacement has just that, and being different and doing a uncommon swap is more than enough reason to do it. Also i have owned 2 300zx tt's so i know the wiring down to a tee so that is not a problem at all.
