Default RIP B16 bottom end :::PICS:::::

Well i figure since steve showed his carnage i went and pulled my head off this morning & discovered this.
Pistons seem ok, You were right jeff. just that huge *** crack on #2 and looks like that start of 1 crack on #1

I have a new headgasket not sure if i can reuse the ARP headstuds. I just need my block to be shipped then my Black POS will be running.

Head looks ok

yeah, it took me a week to get the head off. I did not want to bother you any more then i already had so i figure i could do it and take my time and put all my bolts and labled them in zip lock bags. I will leave pulling the pistons out up to the professionals. Jeff when all my stuff gets here if you could slap that new block in i would pay you whatever you want plus give you the cracked block if you wanted it.

Steve turbo is ok my downpipe is messed up still cause it sits to low. I have to take that in to get my vband flange welded back on then i can fix my powerplate. Just got to get that block here and see if jeff will toss that in for a few hundred dollars.

Damn that sucks. Could have been much worse though.

Don't see why you couldn't reuse the headstuds.

You can resue factory head studs. ARP one are way okay to reuse!
