Default is this the right part number for a speedo gear? installing lsd/buying new gear

ok, i think i found a place that has the speedo gears for sale on their site...hopefully its the correct part. im buying one so i dont have to take it off my old differential.

i think the part i need is #10 on the illustration, and a little down the page shows its the gear. am i reading it right? i need to make sure before i go and buy it.

what fucked up dodge tranny are you installing a detroit locker in?

The diff ring is PRESSED onto the diff.........have fun

assuming its for a D series, the part number you want is 41312-PL3-B00. $18 from Hondapartscheap.com.

its for an 89 acura d16a1 tranny. i know the speedo gear is pressed on. i wanted to buy a new gear so that i can just press it on the new diff. without breaking the old one trying to get it off.

thats not it, thats for your speed sensor, you need the gear on the diff.
