right hand drive cars
hey i was wondering if anyone knows if the right hand drive cars transmissions have the same gear placement (as in first being closest to the driver in the american cars) so is 1st gear in japanese cars closest to the driver or do they not change the transmission to compinsate the right hand drive car

dude you serious? ::) ask anyone with an imported engine and tranny in there car. I wonder in japan is their handles on toilets are on the otherside of it and if the water swirls in the other direction? :P

it wasnt totally a stupid question, if everything is the same y is the ecu plugs faceing the driver and all jdm ecu's appear upside down when used in a USDM car. also all interior is placed toward the right, i.e center console and all that bs. so asking if the gears would be different is a good question.
