Rickys2000si is crashed badly..... :(

Crashed the si early sunday morning.
1700 to fix, insurance wont cover it cause yours truly license is suspended....

and it wasn't even my fault, some ------- dick cut me off thinking he could turn before i got to the intersection and before i could hit him ------- dick stayed there. i avoided him and slamed my front into a parked car....

needs
bumper
grille
lights
lip
rim
the whole front assembly that holds the radiator
radiator
paint the whole ------- car
hood.

to top it off, gonna be a hot summer cause the ac condensor and fan got crushed against the exhaust manifold.

im sad.... but she will come out may 2003 in new form
get ready fuckers the ctr front end was already ordered.

and turbo
on a stock b16a2 will be in a new form. im coming back and im coming back strong...

Re:Rickys2000si is crashed badly..... :(

you were speeding too weren't you? My friend is the same way, maybe you're weren't, but everything he does, rear ended a jeep, do a 720 on the highway is not his fault, its either the ass who stopped too fast infront of him or the wind that pushes his car and makes him spin out on a snowy road.

Just makes me laugh when nobody says, i might have been going a little too fast. Not saying that you WERE ricky2000si, just mentioning it, felt like the right momment.

BUT, serves u right for driving with a suspended license. I wonder why it got suspended in the first place, speeding? whaddya know! Maybe you'll learn now.

Re:Rickys2000si is crashed badly..... :(

my friend rear ended two people in his 2000si....gues they dont like to stop. both times he jest got a whole new front end and left the rest of the car with the old paint. with a car that new the paint should match well. whats the difference with the ctr front?

J-SMITH69 04-01-2003 11:55 AM

Re:Rickys2000si is crashed badly..... :(

i see lots of people rear end each other during my commute.

its usually hot heads who think everything is a race

Re:Rickys2000si is crashed badly..... :(

hrm. so crashing my si for driving without a license was my fault??

howz about i gave philadelphia all the money for 1 stupid ticket that i won in court and they never relieved my suspension.

have i mentioned that i have a lawyer working on my case? i was supposed to have it fixed 3 months ago and harrisburg says "its under review"

my fault huh?
as for speeding again your wrong. my airbags would have deployed in a impact hard enough. they didnt and i totalled the front completly, that tells you i wasn't going fast at all. the car just slid. it was raining.

My Si for most of you who know me never gets beat on. i treat her like a little bitch that the hor is.

for the ac condensor thanks anyways, im yanking it out. im going iwth a nice snail to fit there.

for the ctr front there is hardly any difference at ALL from teh 00 si front. however the headlights are different and ran me a nice penny. i will be getting the option 3 electron blue pearl paint. its a tad purpler then most...

Re:Rickys2000si is crashed badly..... :(

if your car is lowered thats most likely why the bags didnt go off, or if you car is lower than the one you hit....both time my friend rear ended people he basically slid under them and never touched the sensors, and he was going fast one of the times...his girl's head hit the windshield but she was ok

Re:Rickys2000si is crashed badly..... :(

of course its your fault since u crashed with no license. YOUR NOT SUPOSED TO BE DRIVING.

i guess people like to learn the hard way.

rickys2000si 04-01-2003 10:40 PM

Re:Rickys2000si is crashed badly..... :(

shortyz

actually i have paperwork saying i was already supposed to have my license reinstated 3 MONTHS AGO, however there systems aren't reflecting it.

get the drift now, im supposed to have my license already but there is some ------- in the pa system. i had a ticket went to court and fought it, paid the others i had. i have papers saying i was gonna get it back in november!!!

it still isn't showing that. thats why i have a lawyer working on the case now.....

as for your airbags.. no they might not have gone off. My younger brother ran into a gaurd rail doing 100+ km/hr and the airbags didnt go off in that car. and he hit it head on, ,almost exactly, the rear end came off the ground. it just depends on how the front crumbles and yours didnt crumble that bad. It was raining? Thats no excuse. I've stopped a cube van with 4 tonnes in the back in a snow storm fine, you probably didnt adjust your driving according to the conditions. ANYTIME u cant stop "in time" is YOUR fault for following too close, whether some1 just go infront of u or not. Next time adjust your braking cushion....

I got one question???

how many of you ever drove your cars in the street with lets say a gutted cat? howz about no insurance for just one day, or didn't register the car till maybe a couple days later???

let the first person whos never been 100% legal say something about my whole licensing situation, i would bet everyone on here has something ILEGAL on there cars.

again for you assclownz that dont understand, i didn't hit the car in front of me, i hit a parked car swirving to avoid hitting an ------- who was trying to turn onto oncoming traffic.

i wasn't going fast at all, that damage is from me sliding underneath the car.

either way, its alright.
it will be fixed soon and i atest to have one of the fastest street legal 2000 si ever!!

Sorry to hear about your car, it probably hurts everytime you see it huh? My 88 Crx Si was murdered by a guy in an F150 who was passing on the right shoulder in an intersection and T-boned me while I was turning... no ticket from the cop, but my insurance said I was 25% at fault because in Washington it is legal to pass on the right if there is room to pass and it is safe to do so. Since he hit me it probably wasn't safe now was it? Insurance companies are such a racket >:(. Anyway again my condolences.

Re:Rickys2000si is crashed badly..... :(

Man... leave the guy alone, he just lost his precious baby. I do agree with Rickys2000si, we ALL do something illegal. Sure he was driving with a suspended license, ---- I was driving with no licenses for the longest time, but how many of you guys can actually saw you car COMPLETE law abiding citizens? I pretty sure most, if not all of you guys, don't follow the speed limit exactly. Even the posted speed limit isn't the speed limit, since those numbers are for OPTIMAL driving conditions. And for the youngens under 18 and don't drive, you know riding without a helmet or riding on the sidewalk. Yeah and I'm pretty sure that a good number of us are running gutted or no cat at all!

So ricky man, I feel you dude and I also give my condolences. But I got a question, why swap out the Si rims with the delsols?

Re:Rickys2000si is crashed badly..... :(

that absolutely blows man. I hate assclowns that cut people off. I was towing a civic wagon last wednesday with my turbo wagon(pulls it like its not there!) on the highway, and this assclown flys by and whips over in front of me to take the exit, missed my bumper by two inches. people just don't think.

Re:Rickys2000si is crashed badly..... :(

for the del sol rims they were only on for the winter. i had my Si rims powdercoated in gunmetal and i didnt want the snow and ice, plus also the salt to ruin the finish.

so i put them on to take the beating. the Gunmetal Si rims were ebayed for 700 and the car will be getting slipstreams for the 03 summer.

for the people who had my back
thankz
ricky

Re:Rickys2000si is crashed badly..... :(

I think that there is an unwritten law of the intersection that says something like:

If you're going to pull out in front of someone and cut them off, you must also do the following:

1. Spin your tires. Not only does this commit you to the takeoff, but it lets the oncoming driver know you have nothing left to lose.
2. Don't make eye contact. If you see him flip you off, you both are having a worse day.
3. Accelerate past the speed limit. That's right, allow your victim to make up for lost time by redlining the engine through third. Don't ------foot it, either. Really row the gearbox and chirp the tires.

Apparently whoever pulled out didn't know this.
