Default reverse mini me swap

i used a d16z6 block with a d16a6 head for my crx, im turboing my car and i was thinking that a vtec head on a nonvtec block raises your compression ratio, sooooo......... does a non vtec heac on a vtec block lower your ratio? which is obviously better for turboing.

yes, anytime the head going on has a larger cumbustion chamber cc compression will go down. lower compression better for boost is a myth. SAFER for boost, not better.

no its not. its just safer, plain and simple, only reason for lowering compression in F/I builds is safely being able to run more boost, which is good on a drag car, but on a street driven car where vacuum is seen as much or more than boost, stock compression in most cases is better.

Looks like with D16a6 block, z6 head, a6 head gasket your going to be about 8.4:1

z6 head gasket would be 8.6:1
