i got my car safety inspected the other day:

the results:
he says
"look man, your tires are bald as hell, you cant see your mileage, (dont ask) your tail light is cracked, your car looks like it has a stock exhaust, but i know it isnt, you have a chip in your windsheild, how am i suspossed to pass this car"
my reply, "what kinda beer do you drink"
his reply "coors light"
my reply "while your puttin the sticker on, i will run across the street and get you a case, and we will act like this never happened"
his reply when i got back "your car is good to go man" have a good day.

its as easy as that ;)
and this is no joke either. dead serious.

what did you have for dinner? chili? that and keilbosa and onion sandwiches along with some deviled eggs and some cabbage soup always make my emissions stink something fierce!

there's a few carbonate byproducts that stink like a bitch in an unclean burn. lots of that has to do with poor quality gasoline that we have here.

i used to do the same thing when i lived in VA. sometimes a plain old 20 works. one place said they couldn't get my car onto the lift, so i had to ask why it would need to get up there when i am just gonna give him 20 for the sticker. should have seen his face ;D

Re:The results are in!

lol its WAayyy different here. Ours are regulated w/ the gov't on a mainframe. each test is sent to a head office where results are calculated and then printed. No sticker, all computerized.

Cray91 11-01-2004 03:53 PM

Re:The results are in!

When MN had emmisions, you had a Gov't garage that did only emmisions testing, nothing else. So you couldn't really toss the guy a case of beer for a sticker or anything.
