Default Removing paint question

I have fresh paint on my fiberglass bumper that reacted bad to a bad lay down of polyurethane claer coat. It started to orange peel very badly and i just want to completely start over and get all the paint off and lay new primer on top to start over. The problem is that i hate paint stripper cause it makes a shitty mess. I sprayed the whole bumper with it and it kinda hardened and won't wipe off. I'm thinking that i wait over night and let it dry and then come back with 180 grit on a DA to get it off, then that would solve the problem. What do yall think. Or maybe another way?

well it depends how much you ahve on there? usually it just crackles the paint and then dries, enabling you to just sorta knock it off with the sander real easy.
