Thats awesome wonder how much those older celicas weigh. A headgasket and some boost would make that car fuuuun

Check out the pic with the gauge cluster and it'll give you a good hint towards what it has in it...

It seems to be a pretty common swap.

The Tough sees a turbo car and gets excited. I see a poorly designed engine that will ---- oil pumps faster than any H22.

The Tough sees a NA car and sneers. I see a driveline that can eat 500 whp and acres of empty engine bay to stuff big mojo into.

Who does HMT think is right?

Bah!

I see a boosted engine on an AWD platform with a small bed in the back and I contemplate how many college hookers I could fit back there and drive to the lake with.

I see a N/A car and I just can't justify that swap for anything more than what it is in reality, an RWD N/A Honda that isn't going to be in the same galaxy as 500 WHP.

And NO The Tough :7

That na honda motor has a ton more potential than that shitty sub engine. Forged internals from the factory anybody 500 whp is a turbo and headgasket away...

This maybe true but it's not boosted. I wasn't talking about potential, I was comparing the vehicles that Buk and JD posted. And I'm going with the Subi.

Final answer. ;)

some of the brats come with a little back seat in the bed. i always liked them. personally i like all the cars posted. the problem is you would build one of these and you wouldnt want to stop there. you always want more or want to build something else lol. i will take all of them

They are sick aren't they. I'm partial to the Carmengia for nostalgic reasons, but would rock ---- out of any of them any given day uncontrolably. It would be uncontrolable. Control wouldn't even be a factor.

The throttle is gonna steer that Karmen Ghia better then the steering wheel will. lol. The orange dime is Tod Kaneko's who is also the US manager at Mazdaspeed. You should see the 240 that he also has. Both have some baller ass prototype garrett snails. The 510's snail is prototype HKS GT-series turbo. The turbo runs a 56-trim BCCW-18 compressor wheel and .70 A/R housing, but goes exotic from there. The center section utilizes a real CART/indy full ball bearing system and the turbine wheel is a Gen III Inconel 76-trim unit contained within a .84 A/R divided tangential housing.
