Release Bearing

Can I use a factory release bearing on a Centerforce Dual Friction? I have a buddy who gets a HUGE discount because he work for a place that get a lot of orders from the wholesaler. But a Centerforce release bearing is 65.00 and a factory is 30.00CAN.
