My uncle ran black hose on his roof, pumped the water out of the pool, through the hose on the roof and back to the pool. It was way more efficient that that clusterfuck

You have obvisouly never tried to solder or desolder pipes that have the slightest amount of water in them.

Any amount of water in the pipes creates steam, and unless you are breaking out the OXY tourch and melting the pipes you have a helluva time breaking the solder.

My wife uncle took and his old fuel tank from the farm (500gal or something like that) cut a door in it, ran about the same amount or more copper pipe in it.

All you do is a few big logs, and a small tree, 1/2 gallon of diesel and he got the same effect!

Nothing like taking the tractor back to the bush to chop down a tree to heat the pool!!! No Kidding!

That's more redneck!

oooo sounds like a good idea.
I`ve also read how ppl use the same tech. but work as a air condition unit. putting the hoses DEEP DEEP underneth the house, then run the water throught use a small considensor in the house and put a fan in front of it
