recover data off usb
yeah, so my usb dealie got fucked up somehow.
all the folders and files look like this: =±▌)-%d.─\ wtf???!!? i had school ---- i need on there, and now its all fucked. and i dont have it save on my comp, well cuz im a dumbass and didnt expect this to happen. ----, im screwed, gotta start researching again to write my paper for tuesday. fuckity ----. |

when i try to open a folder i get:
...not accessible. The file name, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. :'( |

Similar thing happened to me a while ago. Only thing I could do was format the drive :-\

Call a computer place local to ya or maybe find a guy that looks like he hasn't seen a vagina since birth. He will have a tech answer for ya.

There are software for this, I deleted a entire partition and it took me 3 days before get back all my data...
Search for "partition recovery tool" or ---- like this on google! Non-free software :( |

go buy another usb drive thats the same model and what not....open up the old one solder out the biggest chip in it and put it in the new one....but i would first try the sofware trick mentioned above ....try putting it in the freezer for 4 a couple of hours, i heard of this trick working on desktop hard drives but both use different ways to store/write/read info but it wouldn't hurt to try......anyhow if you could reformat it and get it to be reusable would you want to?
