recipe for Chicken Al'King!<- damn this is good.

So I'm sitting in my kitchen staring at the cupboards drooling and can't figure out what the hell to eat, there are no pizza's or anything. Whatever.

So it dawns upon me that I know how to make this ---- called Chicken Al'King. A local bar/grill would make this like once a month and it as damn good. I got the receipe from them a long time ago and as im staring at the cupboards i realize that i have the ---- to make it.

---- you need:
1 bag of boneless chicken
3 cans of whole potatos
1 can of carrots
1 can of green beens cut
1 can of whole kernel corn
4 small cans of "cream of chicken" or just 1 family size
buttermilk flake rolls (the ones that you bake, you peel the wrapper and the can explodes as you open it)

okay here we go

boil the chicken until it is cooked (all the way white through no pink :)

remove from water and place on cutting board and allow to cool.

While it is boiling and ---- you can get a big ass pot and start putting eveything else in there. You need to drain everything then place the carrots, corn and greenbeans in the big pot, take the whole potatos and cut them into 1/8ths or 1/4ths just make them small.

then take all of the cream of chicken and put that in there. then put 1 can milk and 1 can water into it. that's it.

now, you can stir that up a bit and start warming it up (low heat) and stir it a lot.

now cut the chicken up after it has cooled, it will cut 10x better and make them into small chunks toss all that ---- and start heating it up.

you should have preheated the oven and have it at whatever it is for the rolls

put them on the sheet and cook

place 2 rolls or whatever on plate and then cover with the chicken/carrots/etc mixutre....

dman this ---- is good...

im going to go eat now becuase my rolls are done.

word!

First, This is for something quick that is damn good.

Second, You don't know what fresh ingredients are.

You probably think fresh ingredients are from the veggy section of the local store right?

---- that. If I had wanted to, I could have went to my grandma's and grabed a ------ chicken, pulled a few cobs of corn, pull a few carrots and yank a few greenbeen stauks and pulled a few potatos.

eat a dick

my point to this fuckwaste was the fact that I "do know what fresh veggies are" and he that he got all super offensive over nothing. Yay so your grandparents are hillbillies/rednecks.. I'm not impressed.

---- after all the help I've offered you in FI and you turn into a complete bitch..

LOL ;D

Thanks for the support guys.. I do a lot of cooking but haven't bothered to import and of my recipes into the forums since I figure the majority of you bachelors don't do much cooking (it's what the women are for! [with the exception of Mary]). I'll be sure to take a pic of my $250 zirconium carbide chef's knife later. I mostly just make up the recipes in my head as I'm going along and I can have all my friends vouch for me.

Canned beans.. gross - I'll tell you how to prep beans later.

I love to BBQ. I work at a BBQ house every saturday morning. <-bacially for the fun of it. He only pays me 6 bucks an hour, and I can honestly say, I would almost do the job for free. I just love to BBQ. Ribs are my favorite. I can make some killer chicken to. pulled pork, pretty much anything except fish. I just have never tried grilling fish. I think salmon is in my near future....

ask Kevin (projekteg)about Thigs BBQ house(this is where I work)...on the road the airport is on. ;) voted #2 BBQ in the Carolina's. the #1 place is called Smithfields, and dont get me wrong, there food is really good, but I honestly think that they were #1 because they are a chain restraunt, they are in a good location, and they advertise.

Thigs is in the country, and we do NO advertisment. if we were in a good location, and advertised, we would with out a doubt be #1.

Re:recipe for Chicken Al'King!<- damn this is good.

I just have a thing against canned veggies, that's all.. I prefer fresh everything. I'm as ---- in the kitchen as I am under the hood. I have ran kitchens before and I've been certified in florida but I won't do it for a living cause then I would never do it for fun. Nothing wrong with the recipe, I would present it on my menu but I think my brother/friends like more "common" food. If I cook a mexican dish or an asian dish then nobody eats it and I can't stand to waste food (now that my dog isn't around). I did a really kick ass salmon in white wine sauce the other night.. used like a whole bottle of wine. I have grilled salmon before but typically I only grill ribs (since that's the only thing that I'm good at on the grill - I suck at bar-b-q'ing steaks). I would like to log more hours in on the grill but I typically cook inside cause it's quicker/easier.

Good to see that Julio isn't a sell out and knows how to make traditional beans (you do soak them overnight then rinse.. right?)

Re:recipe for Chicken Al'King!<- damn this is good.

I never said I didn't like it? I just don't like CANNED VEGETABLES.

My problem is I never write ---- down I just make it up as I go along with cooking.

First I went to the fisherman's dock fish market and got 3 pounds of salmon, fried some and had like 2.5 left.

I got a baking dish and threw a bunch of butter in there... 4 table spoons maybe? Melted that in the oven on 350 degrees then brought it back out to add the rest of the stuff. I think I then threw seasoning.. finely sliced garlic glove, salt, pepper, one fresh squeezed lemon and about 3/4 a bottle of a nice chardonnay wine (like a $20 bottle) and let it cook in the over for about an hour. I took it out frequently and turned the salmon over and made sure it got juiced well.

I should have probably used more lemon juice and got a cheaper sweater bottle of wine.

I was kinda drunk when I made it so that's about the best I can recall.. everyone liked it.

---- yeah! Post more of this ----. I'm gonna be cooking for myself this next year, so I need some quick easy recipies. Oh and I'm spoiled too. I think salmon is pretty crappy. Fresh pelagic fish is way better. Fish like Marlin, Ono, Mahi, Ahi...My dad used to fish alot.

quad. i think i might do something like what you said, but instead of baking, i will grill it. --use the seasoning/wine as a marinade.

and furacerman, look on the internet, and cook books. I acually sometimes read cook books. arent I a nerd.

im on a big itallian kick right now.

I need a how to cook for newbs book or something, because thats one area I definatly stay away from the kitchen. I'd probably like to cook if I knew how, but I'm a very impatient person and when I'm hungry I eat, so typically I just go out and eat. Posts like this are pretty cool, just wish I had enough balls to actually do it. It would probably come out tasting like ---- if I did it :-\

jeff

just try it , you will be pleased with the results without question. You can't exactly ---- it up anywhere. Just watch the rolls and make sure they don't burn and make sure that the chicken + eveything else doesn't burn to the bottom of the pot.

Seriously go to the store right now and buy all of the ----, and do it, you will be happy and full.

btw, this makes an extremely large batch so you will have enugh food for a week.

im going to go eat some more
