Miata. There rear wheel drive. Not really a sports car but you can boost it.If your into old school cars you can try and find an old Datsun Blue Bird(510).Or a Toyota Celica GTS(Hatchi roku). You can pick either one of those for about 2-4gs.There hard to find but maybe you can get lucky.
If your looking to spend around 6gs or so I would get an old school car and build up the engine.

old supras are pretty badass and cheap but really heavy, my friend has an automatic that can drift like a champ. and he's in the process of a huge turbo upgrade.. its gonna be sweet.

if you just wanna burn tires get a 5.0 mustang.. they are super cheap, have tons of torque and no traction.

try a toyota carolla gt-s. they are old retro 80's and by far one of the best drift cars. or get a starion, who can argue with 2.6? liters of turbo fun? also, try a volvo. those can drift like a mother.

I can almnost agree with everything but the Starion. Those were the most trouble prone vehicles ever rolled off the assembly line!

The only way to go would be a 2nd gen Mazda RX7 Turbo II. You can find them for way under $6,000. ;D
