??? Rear Brake Caliper Question ???
Ok.. so I got some good used calipers. One is 100% perfect bolt on condition. The other needs a little TLC. The slider part had a lot of resistance so I pulled it off. The slider Pins were totally worn and warped. I have other pins I put in there and it seems the slider bracket is rusted inside. So I grab my spare slider bracket and the pins slide in and out smoothly. I go to attached that rubber boot into the groove on the slider bracket and when I push the slider pin in the boot pops off from the air pressure!
Anyone have any tips on how to re-build this damn bracket! http://www.slhondaparts.com/images/PCI/13SH20/006/4.jpg #14 is the part in question. |
