the only deferance in home and pro is the pro is more secure.. but if its on a laptop that your using for non enternet.. then there is no problem.

the difference is that with pro, he won't get that shitty message. I am using pro on my laptop and my desktop, same ce key, never a problem. WIth pro, since it is more for corporations, they can't really detect that you have a bootleg copy, or some ---- like that, i forgot exactly. Nonetheless, it's been 4 years using pro, never had that threat that boost has.

can't you only register a key once on winxp without having to call them?

unless you have one of those keys for a company or something. pm me it so i can register my laptop.
